Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Moraine

Extremely unprofessional and rude. I ordered a sub with tomatoes on the side, got home to realize tomatoes were all over it. Normally not a big deal, I thought I would just go have the sub re made. I arrive back at the location and the staff member Christopher tells me he know for a fact he did not put tomatoes on my sub. Told me I had put them on there myself with the side of tomatoes I was given. He refused to remake my food until I went back home and retrieved the side of tomatoes to prove that I hadn't put them on there myself. So I went back home, got the side of tomatoes and then went back to penn station for a third time. Then Christopher finally remade my food. No apology for running me back and forth nor did he admit that it was his mistake. Once I received my food I asked another staff member if he was the manager or if Christopher was. He just stared at me blankly and after I asked about 3 more times he finally said he was kind of a manger and said he didnt know what to tell me. He did not care. Then Christopher steps in and was like WHAT , WHAT YOU TALKIN BOUT ME, getting almost hostile and then I started to feel threatened by how up set he was and he the manor he approached me. I'm a female and he bigger and is rather intimidating. I'm posting under my husband's account. I asked for both of there names and Christopher gave me his while bobbing head and giving me attitude. The other workers name was Harrison. Or so he said. I understand mistakes happen, but to pretty much be called a liar and refuse to correct his mistake is very unprofessional. Everytime I go in here a little bit before closing time at 10 pm ( which is super early ) they always have an attitude. The short chubby quiet white guy ( manager ) is clearly holding the place together but he's also too nice to keep the other workers under control. I go in at like 9:40 pm and this one guy was screaming at everyone "WELL!! 🤷 THERE GOES ANY HOPE OF US LEAVING AT 10 O CLOCK TONIGHT HUH!??!!!?!!! " 😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬☠️☠️☠️. As if that wasn't enough to make everyone feel awkward... he continues.... "HEY JEREMY!!??!!" ( As he's standing oddly close to me btw ), "YOU WASN'T HOPING TO LEAVE HERE RIGHT AT 10 O CLOCK TONIGHT WERE YOU?!?!!?!" ( Dude he's speaking to soaks in the awkward hostility this one guy is making and quietly ignores him, keeps head down and keeps sweeping ). Crazy dude talking to himself continues.... "WELL I SURE HOPE NOT HAHAH 🤪🤪, BECAUSE WE SURE IN THE HELL!!! ARE NOT LEAVING ON TIME TONIGHT AHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I casually look up at the manager who's been a soldier for over ten years and has had my back every week when I come in at closing time on Thursdays you know who you are and I just give him that disappointed head shaking side to side look while glancing at Mr. Temper Tantrum 5 year old lil boy and he nods in understanding and he just quietly walks over and tells lil boy scout to calm down and stay quiet and that I'll clearly be gone in two seconds and that I'm a regular. The kind of regular to post books to Google reviews and call corporate like it's my second job because I'm just petty like that...

Typically good subs. They have clearly gotten smaller in the last year at all of the Penn Station locations. The bread is skinnier overall so that for the same length of sub there is less bread and less room for toppings inside. Still though, they are good. Just like everything else the size of the container shrinks to hide a price increase. Most people don't even notice. Remember when ice cream was always half a gallon? Then 1.75 pints? And now 1.5 pints is the standard. It's the same thing with the subs.

At my most recent visit, they apparently cooked my food and then gave it to a random person at the drive through. I finally asked, and they remade it, not knowing what had happened. At least 15 orders that came in after I did were served for me. One person said he'd upgrade my fries to a large from a medium to make up for the ~25 minute wait, but then someone else said I didn't pay for a large so I couldn't have it. Way to mess up my order and specifically and purposefully do nothing to make up for it - even rescinding an offer for a bump up in fries that would have cost the...
