American Thrift Store — Local services in Moraine

I used to shop the store and every time I went in the owner a Male would be screaming and degrading his women employees. I then became friends with one of the employees that work there. Very nice lady. She convinced me to come back and start shopping there again. Well today because I did not have my ID on me which every employee in the store knows who I am how old I am except for the owner because he didn’t see them ID me, because I didn’t have my ID because I don’t need it there anymore well because he didn’t see them ID me he decided he would humiliating degrade me in front of his entire store, customers, employees, and all. And told me my kind was not welcome there.. Not sure what he meant by my kind unless he meant an older white lady! My granddaughter was with me and she was so upset when we got to the car she said she didn’t ever want to go back because that mean man. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I have been there multiple times and bought items from them. Recently went and loved a swimsuit. Tried it on and proceeded to check out. Lady told me I could not purchase item since the there was no tag. I knew there was a tag before I tried it on and knew it probably fell off in the process of taking it off. Their tags are pieces of paper stapled onto the clothing (Very easy to fall off). The lady asked another worker if she should sell it since I brought the tag back to them when I found it. The girl told her that those swimsuits are usually 4-5 dollars. She insisted she couldn't sell it to me. I have never dealt with such rude service. They clearly did not want my money because if they would have acted in a more professional way I would have gladly offered to pay the 5 dollars even though they both clearly knew it was only 3 they just wanted to haggle me. I left feeling completely disgusted at the way I was treated. Hopefully I can save someone else from an awful experience if...

My husband and I have been coming here for years. I am an ebay reseller and come in once a week. There are a couple employees that are very friendly and greet me when i come in. I normally spend quite a bit and always put back items and take off hangers. The owner here is incredibly rude, he degrades his female employees and yells at customers. One day he approached me told me i had to much in my cart. I stayed calm and apologized. He screamed at me proceeded to tell me how to shop(?) And went on and on. I was having a really bad day and started to cry. Your yelling at me for spending money in your store? I wanted to report this guy. This is a nice thrift thrift store but the owner needs to be stopped for treating employees and customers like garbage.. I gaurantee if I had been a man he would not have said one thing to me.
