Istanbul Resturant — Restaurant in Moraine

First 2 times I came here I was blown away with the quality of food . Thought I finally found something different and delicious. Ordered the beef wrap last week and everything was perfect. Decided to try again today and waited 25 minutes for a bowl of fries. After explaining that I ordered a beef wrap and fries I was told they would have it done in 3 minutes. In the 3 minute span I heard the microwave going off multiples times I tried to ignore it but I really couldn't . After getting the beef wrap I sat in my truck to eat and it just was the dryest flavorless food I ever had . Approached counter and kindly said last time the beef wrap was delicious and this time it was really bad. I asked if it they had microwaved the food and they said yes they always microwave all the meat. Which was a bit of a letdown . 2 stars for having previous good experiences would have been 1 based off today's event.Definitely don't want microwaved meat...

I stopped by on a whim and got the lamb chops and a Turkish coffee. They treated me like family while I waited on the food. The coffee was served in the traditional style and was as delicious as I remembered. The lamb was tender and juicy. They even put in a grilled jalapeño and tomato along with romaine and Turkish rice with a side of garlic sauce and pita slices. It was a generous dinner serving and enough for another meal.

My go to food stop down here was always Taqueria del Pueblo, and still will be, however I was excited to see a new food truck in the same area! I always love variety.

The food here is absolutely fantastic and made to order. Ingredients are fresh and the staff is always excited to see you. I am now going to have to add this truck to my rotation because that Beef Wrap is quite addicting. Lamb chops are...
