Hold on to your hats- this is a doozy of a story. My brother and I arranged to meet here for lunch today. He arrived at 11ish and me shortly after. I have an hour for lunch but drove 15 minutes to meet at this central location. He ordered the food ahead of time in to-go containers in case we cut it too close on time. We sat in a booth in the corner (there was one other group of two in the restaurant) so lots of open seats. We opened our containers and were about to take a bite, when a server approached our table. "I'm sorry you ordered your food to go, and it is our managers policy. You'll need to take it to go." At this point I was kinda speechless as no one was in the building except another 2 person group. We packed up our food and worked our way to the door. At this point I am pretty upset as we have paid and their policy is not posted anywhere that to-go orders cannot be consumed in their business so I proceeded to ask questions as to why. They explained the servers losing the table (which I would have left a tip..) then the original person who spoke up decided once more to have the final say as we approached the door. "You are making a big deal out of nothing."
I am sorry but it is a big deal. 1.) Policy not posted 2.) Server was rude 3.) If they would of explained in the first place we could of worked it out.
I will not ever go to this location again. I am appalled with the service and the lack of respect and consideration for...
Read moreI was SO disappointed by my last visit--and by "last" I mean that I'll never go to this location again. My husband and I walked in just a few minutes after opening, so there were no guests inside yet (however, there were cars in the drive through, so they were up and running, ready for business). We were greeted by four guys, and as indicated, we picked a seat and waited for the server to come over....and waited....and waited.....and waited. Almost 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the majority off the employees were going back and forth to the back of the kitchen, playing and having a great time, making what can only be described as "kung fu" noises, chopping at each other and doing anything but working. I am a former employee of Skyline, and I know that guests are supposed to be eating within 5 minutes of sitting at the table, not still waiting to be acknowledged while the employees horse around. Additionally, the tables were still dirty from the night before and the carpet looked atrocious. Don't waste your time going to this location: the ones on Brown Street and Wilmington Pike are MUCH nicer, and you...
Read moreAdd experience bad enough to Warrant never returning. Food was terrible sloppy messy I ordered a three-way and it showed up to the table with standing puddles of grease on the plate which surprised me when I ordered it as dry as possible. So instead of remaking the plate they simply tilted it and drained some oil off the side then returned the plate with Chili slopped all over the place still greasy and very un appetizing. The spaghetti noodles were like rubber as if they were fake almost chewy. I also got a Coney and the coney was oily and overcooked on one side from how long it had been sitting. It had almost no flavor and the hotdog skin had separated from the inside. Server was nowhere to be found. Also they had the radio in the kitchen area cranked up so it was blasting while they had the normal house music going so it was a nightmare having different styles of music loudly blasting at you while trying to eat. Employees on the kitchen side horse-playing carrying on and cussing to go along with the music. The music was loud uncensored rap... so much for family friendly?? ... Imean hello...
