Riverside Grill and Subs — Restaurant in Morehead City

First time here and we were the only customers. Our waitress never came to check on us and even had to signal to the back that we were ready to pay and leave. I don't mean the back behind the counter. I mean the back of the house to the kitchen. Guys, we could have walked out and they wouldn't have cared or noticed. While waiting I couldn't help to notice the salads in the window cooler next to the counter. I'm glad I didn't ask for any of that. It looked past its expiration date. The food was absolutely horrible. They need to change their oil. Fries were burnt and tasted like fish. Lemonade tasted like water with a hint of tin can. I don't leave reviews unless it is a complete waste of money and this was indeed a waste. It is quite obvious that no one cares about this restaurant. Ordered delivery and already figured it wouldn’t be great since you don’t get to eat it fresh. We ordered the hot wings and bbq wings, and unfortunately they are the type of wings that have a heavy breading, which I hate, so those weren’t great. My partner ordered the chicken fettuccini Alfredo and he reported it was “meh” but he ate it. I ordered the seafood ravioli special and that was very good! They gave us bread on the side, but I’m assuming it’s the complimentary bread you get at the table - so it was just plain toasted bread, figured we would have gotten garlic bread with our pastas. I really like the food here but I can't say the staff is extremely friendly. We walked in today and no one greeted us. We needed a high chair for my son and we had to track down the waitress. Our table had been wiped down but noticed when they clean the tables no one wipes down the chairs and my chair had crumbs on it when I went to sit. I dont like that and would expect better. I ordered a drink and it was bad so when I gave it back no one offered anything else to replace it just said ok we out. Didnt offer any extra napkins or desserts. So was kinda...
