Shipwrecks Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Morehead City

Love the staff and bartender Ashley i think her name that bartends Friday and Saturday nights is one of the best and friendliest bartenders ive ever encountered and she doesn't have anybody wait long for their beverages and the other punk rockish girl bartender that has glasses can't remember name is aslo very nice and friendly and the cook that makes the wings has some of best wings ive ever ate and he is also friendly and nice services and all 3 of these employees on your Friday and Saturday night crew work their butts off and best service ive had in alot of years they honestly deserve a raise and will keep me coming back 2 shipwrecks and matter of fact me and my brother will be coming this Saturday we made sure b4 end of the night tipped the bartenders really good good and thank each one of them for running around like they were chicken wit the head cut off and still do get ppl there food while its hot and not make us wait forever to get a a beer and mixed drink and then track down the cook and gave him a nice tip and just wanted to thank him for his delicious wings and hard work and these employees are the heart of your business and they deserve the world cuz without them you might not have popular...

Overall terrible experience. Atmosphere stunk...it was dueling music...money in the jukebox and then the "dj" kept blaring music, different genre mind you, over it....this was while we were trying to shoot pool...in a league, NOT FOR FUN. Not to mention it was chilly outside and one of the girls that worked there repeatedly opened the door to the outside patio which doubles as the covered smoking area. We'd close it and then she'd open it within a few minutes. After four times she finally left it closed...thank goodness cause it defeats the purpose of having a non smoking establishment if you open the door to the smoking area and it all comes inside. This woman was clueless to the clientele and what they needed/wanted. The bartender was sweet though, and very attentive! Even came out from the bar to check on us,...

Prices were fair. The shrimp burger was the best meal of my week! Get it if you’re thinking about it. The crab cake sandwich was also great and did not have a lot of filler. We also had hushpuppies and cornbread. Both were great. What impressed me the most is the owner helping seat customers and he came around and checked on us to make sure we had a server come to our table.
