When I arrived to this location, my fiancĂ© went and got in line while I went to go use the restroom I tugged on the handle gently to confirm and make sure somebody was in there I didnât hear any response as if someone was in there like anybody would normally give so then I knocked on the door and I got a response of â Obviously, if itâs locked, the restroom isnât useâ Which I understand thatâs what that means but I was just making sure because it sounded like nobody was in there at all then I heard the toilet flush after that response and the lady open the door A comment and using some hand gestures in a very angry manner saying â Next time, if you got to use the restroom go to the menâsâ Obviously, I wasnât gonna do that because it was packed and I didnât want to take over the menâs in case there was a man who Well, and she was Being very rude and told me donât go in there I need to So Iâm assuming she put toilet paper and I waited and she looked at me with the ugliest look eyeing me up and down, and I just asked her what her name was because I noticed that she had an employee shirt on and she stated âKayla, Next time donât be banging on my doorâ Never did I bang. I simply tucked the handle and knocked on the door. Obviously, if I was banging, I wouldâve had the attention of everybody. When I went to the front, my fiancĂ© was about to order I asked who was the manager here and the lady said âKaylaâ when she said that a voice from the back coming Kayla said â Iâm the manager my names Kayla donât be banging on my door next time use the menâsâ mind you, she did this in front of everybody, and it was very packed a line all the way to the back of the restrooms she didnât care about nothing and I said I never banged on your door and then I walked away saying âwhat a manager you areâ then I was already upset and embarrassed that she did that in front Everybody, and then she had the nerve to tell all of the girls who are working At 6:28 PM on May 3, 2024 and they all started looking at me and giggling, and making comments. Then Kayla said again â next time she shouldnât be banging on my doorâ AGAIN NEVER did that occur. At this point, if there was camera footage and recordings, I would be completely fine with that being reviewed because I know for a fact what I did and what I did not do and that she was lying. Yes, you have authority being a manager, but that does not excuse you from being rude to customers and embarrassing them, and feeling that you have the authority to do whatever you want and you will not get in trouble. I come to this Dairy Queen, so often itâs the closest one and it WAS my favorite place to go to for my ice cream craving but at this point Iâd rather not go EVER AGAIN. Iâve never had an altercation like this simply because Iâve always gone through drive thru never inside but we did due to the kind being so long we might as well enter inside. This female âManagerâ was a heavier set African American with long pink and black braids. Never did I get the impression she was a manager from her demeanor or her dirty uniform that didnât look like it even came from ice cream. I never leave reviews unless Iâm extremely satisfied or EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED like I was here. From my too favorite craving to the place Iâd like to...

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service that my family and I received Sunday March 11th. My family and I approached the location at 9:55. One of the employees whom I assume was the manager or shift lead, was extremely rude. She looked at us and said âExcuse me!â We are closed. I looked down, at my phone and it was not 10:00, the door was open and there was other customers in line. I understand that we approached the location 5 minutes prior to closing, however, as a store manager, I am aware that as long as it is not closing time, or the doors are closed, we have to assist the customer unless we are having technical issues. She also couldâve said they were closed in a much more appropriate way. I still stood in line, she looked at my family member and I and said once again, âexcuse me, I said were closed.â I politely asked her, for her corpoerate number to which she responded with âyou can find it online!â I then looked at her and said. âExcuse me, may I have your name,â she also responded with âyou can find it online!â I have photos that prove it was not 10:00 when we got there. Thereâs a photo I took after humiliatedly being kicked out, and it shows 9:56. I look forward to hearing back from you guys, and I sure hope something is done about this situation. It is not okay to treat people like that and this is a situation which could have been handled a completely different way. As mentioned before she did not want to give me her name as she walked away as I attempted to speak to her, however she was a middle-aged Caucasian female. She had short platinum blonde hair, when she mumbled her name all I heard was it started with a D. After letting her know I would be contacting corporate in regards to the service that was provided to my family and I, she turned around and sarcastically said, "well thanks for letting me explain." I do hope that this extremely uncomfortable experience is handled professionally on...
Read moreMy youngest daughter decided that Dairy Queen would be an ideal place for her to work this summer. She called this particular Dairy Queen asking if they were hiring and if they had an application she could pick up. They informed her that they were indeed hiring, and that she could swing by and pick one up. Well, my wife and I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to pick an application up on the way home. When my wife walked in and asked for an application, she was told that, "They didn't have any." Well, we drove back home and called in to confirm that indeed, they didn't have any applications, just to see if the young man working the counter was being truthful. Over the phone, we were again told that they were hiring and that we could pick up an application anytime. So, we asked why were told at the location that they didn't have any and we weren't given any answers, the person on the phone just fumbled over their words. Granted, my wife and I are a bit older, but this person decided that based on her age or appearance, she would not be getting an application. If this isn't discrimination, I don't know what is. She and I are both professional educators and luckily don't have a need to look for employment right now, but I wonder how many people who are out of work and are looking are turned away from businesses like this just because they are a bit older. I hope you resolve your issues and train your staff to be more inclusive and inviting. Highly...
