This is a hidden simple restaurant in a shopping center, but let me tell you, people from Nayarit Mexico can really cook seafood, I started with a cold "Michelada", which is prepared with the beer of your choice and served with a slice of lime and a delicious shrimp on top, it was the perfect starter along g with the fresh made "totopos" or better known as chips with salsa, the spiciness of the salsa, was just perfect for me, not mild, not super spicy, just perfect! They add salt on top of the fresh made chips which makes them really tasty. Since it was our first time here, we wanted to try different dishes without overeating, we started with the shrimp empanadas with the green sauce (spicy and delicious)on the side, really good!!! Followed by the shrimp and octopus cocktail which we truly enjoyed! Very flavorful and fresh, just the way I like it! We finish our experience with langostinos a la plancha (crawfish grilled with spices and butter)my only complain is that I would like for them to offer bigger crawfish even if it is with an adjustment on price. Over all service is great, I suggest that the volume on the "rocola" is adjusted so it won't play music too loud, people pay for the songs they want to play and most of them pick bands or norteño music, which I don't really care for 🙄 and they can do something better with the decor to give the place a cozy feeling and the illusion of being by the sea; over all, I truly enjoyed my food and will go back again and again to try the rest of their dishes, prices are fair, I highly recommend this...

Do not miss the "Taco Gobernador." Marisco El Palma's taco al gobernador features grilled shrimp and white cheese stuffed in double corn tortillas that are griddled until the outer tortilla is crunchy and the cheese melts. The greasy shrimp are excellent by themselves; they pick up marvelous flavor from both the grill and seasoning. The gooey cheese and crispy tortilla are there for texture. A thin, earthy salsa spiked with roasted chiles de árbol is supplied on the side. The salsa is not necessary, but it helps what already is the best taco al gobernador I have eaten north of San Diego.
Also, be sure to order the "Langostinos," a plate of buttery, garlicky, spicy, and splendid sea bugs with a hellishly hot salsa verde.
Not much English is spoken within the walls of Mariscos La Palma, as this is the kind of operation built to feed the local community, not food tourists. Food comes out of the kitchen fast, and although this restaurant always has patrons, it's...
