Taqueria 2 Potrillos — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

I went to this taqueria today with my husband. We’re not familiar with restaurants in the area and we were happy to find this restaurant online. The reviews seemed great. When we arrived we were happy to see that the line was long and we took it as a sign that the food must be good. The entire ordering process seems rushed. The employees looked stressed and it looked extremely chaotic. The food is given to you quickly but then you have to stay in line to pay. That took a long time because the guy in front of us had a huge order. We were becoming impatient because who wants to eat cold soggy tacos? We finally get to the cashier but then we still have to order our drinks while our tacos are getting even colder. We order our drinks and the young man fills our cups with ice and what seemed like a few ounces of water. Sure enough our tacos were cold by the time we sat down and our 3 ounces of agua fresca was consumed before we could count to three. I had to go to cashier and show him the amount of ice that was in our cups. Had he not offered us a free cup of more agua fresca I would have been more upset. The whole thing felt wrong. The service was bad, the tacos were cold because of poor coordination, most of the meat was tough and dry. I can’t forget to mention that none of the tables looked clean and the people ordering their food are three feet from the people eating at the tables.. Definitely will think twice before...

I have been a customer for a very long time, and have experienced a noticeable decline in their service. The line of customers has always been long, but that is expected for the taste of their food. However, recently I have noticed things like the portions being much smaller than they previously were. They cut back on how much meat they give you with your order, and how many sides/ toppings they provide you with. Today I visited the location and got a very small amount of meat in my menudo. To top it off , when I asked for l small containers for toppings from the salsa bar, they told me that they only gave containers for certain foods , and refused to provide me with any for my order. My dad ordered a burrito and they only provided him with 3 small containers and refused to give extras when he asked for them. The salsa they provide you with that is already pre packed is also very little , as if they are being stingy with their materials and ingredients. We also asked them to refill one of the salsa bar containers, and they took forever to do so, while also leaving the salsa bar in unclean conditions. I don’t understand why a restaurant with so many customers has to be so stingy with the food and toppings they serve, as well as the materials they provide to...

Tacos are delicious and under $2. Hands down best tacos in MoVal! Dare I say even better than King Taco... However , The entire process in getting your food is a forking nightmare... It takes forever! Just let us place our order with the cashier... It's taking way too long to get our food... Waiting 40 minutes only to eat your tacos cold because we still have to wait in line to pay for our food is a miserable experience... Breakdown Wait inline to get a cook to make your food and then you have to go (if u order a torta or sandwich) Wait in another line so they can make your tortas and then .. Wait in another line to pay for your food And then You wait in another line to get your drinks And then you wait in another line for your salsa because they tend to forget to offer at checkout And then if you're lucky you can find a table to eat your delicious Luke warm or cold tacos

All of this because the owners want to be "different " from all the other taco places because having the best tasting food isn't good enough...
