(5th EDIT: Nov. 29th, 2024) - I was informed by the store owner (and a 40-year friend), today, that someone either maliciously or did so in error, change this store's operating hours to "temporarily closed". THIS IS INCORRECT. This store IS OPEN, and has remained open, since it's grand opening in 1985. I (and the shop owner an hour before me) have edited the store to reflect that it's STILL OPEN. I will take a shop photo in a couple of days to confirm this status.
(4th EDIT: June 16, 2024) I just now realized there's an error in my ORIGINAL, edited post. While Adam (as a "wee lad" 😁) has been open, since 1984, that was the RIVERSIDE location. He opened the former Pigeon Pass/Hemlock store, in 1985, to broaden his reach. And he has been at the current Perris Blvd/Eucalyptus location, for a few years now.
(3rd EDIT: June 4, 2023) Google desires an edit, so I'll edit this. Business has been open for decades. Proprietor/shop OWNER (Adam), really knows his stuff! Best place around to shop for COMICS and SPORTS CARDS, as well as COLLECTIBLES, ACTION FIGURES, STATUES, POSTERS, Magic and Pokémon cards. And NOW Animé figures, which arrived a few months ago (see my more recent pictures). I have been shopping at the store, for over 4 decades now. (He opened, in 1984, when he was a...
Read moreAfter scouring the area for a comic book store I finally landed on the perfect one. They have weekly new comics, recent comics and old comics and volumes. Not to mention an impressive amount of old figures around at good prices. Very old school feel that reminds me of the comic store I used to visit as a kid. Owner and the other employees always make sure that I and other customers get what we are looking for. New comic book day feels great to walk in surrounded by other comic readers and collectors talking and hanging out and skimming through the comic shelves and boxes. Definitely a unique shop that has become my go...
Read moreI went to the store to sell my old comic book/graphic novels. Owner was helping out another customer selling comics as well, however the two of them started having a 45min side conversation about eBay and OfferUp. Meanwhile i was just standing there waiting for them to finish there deal.
By the time the owner came to help me, he gets a phone call and starts talking to someone on the phone for like 15 minutes completely forgetting that I’m still standing there in front of him. Once he’s done talking he looks through my stack of comics/graphic novels and offers me $10...
