Well I drove in for a take out and didn't walk in off the Greenway. I've had a few fellers recommend this here place so I figured I'd try it. I'm a partial to a pepperoni pizza and the rest of my crowd likes a meat pizza. Didn't have ary coin to flip so's I just up and buys one of each. Right friendly service and met some very friendly folks a eating in and they says to me what good food they have and they've been there plenty. One said to come by and git the meatballs what they fix for a special. I'm gonna try'n keep a weather ear out so as I can run by there and get some. Like I said I got 2 pizzas to go and got on our if there and home and we lit into them. Real real good pizzas both. The sauce had a good flavor and they come them just right so the cheese is cooked and has some brown to it the way it should be. The meat pizza was bettern most with a great combination of meats. The pepperoni was about par for any other not to say it wouldn't good cause it sure was too but nothing to go out back and fight somebody over. All in all i will be back and try some other pizzas too as I grabbed a menu to eyeball...
Read moreI just wanna first compliment the waiter we had, Sal. As soon as we got sat, his energy and mannerism was just awesome. It’s one that impresses people and really helps you to enjoy the environment you’re in. I even overheard others sitting close to us saying “I wish I had his energy..” before coming back with “I did when I was his age 60 years ago” 😂 as they were an elderly table (3-4 people). I mentioned it to my mom immediately as we sat down that I was impressed. And he didn’t drop character for a minute. That was my biggest impression from this experience, professionalism. We also met Fran, who I’m thinking is part of the ownership of the business. She is also very sweet and friendly, very personable people. Their food was awesome too. They had plenty of unique options to choose from at such an affordable price. We ordered 2 appetizers and shared the “Garlic Parm sub option” which was great, all for under $30.
I will be returning for business and recommend it to anyone curious.
P.S. Give these people their...
Read moreGreenway Pizza is always awesome. I'm from Massachusetts and there was a small restaurant & bar, about the same size as Greenway Pizza, named Alberti's and they had been around for decades and decades. They had the best eggplant parmesan. Greenway's eggplant parmesan is made the exact same way. Alberti's also had the best veal parmesan too. I will try that next time. My Italian neighbor says, "You always can tell the quality of an Italian restaurant by how stringy their mozzarella cheese is." Greenway definitely has the most stringy mozzarella around and it's the only place they go for Italian food. Their prices are super reasonable. Tonight: eggplant parmesan with spaghetti, the heartiest soup I've ever had (barley vegetable soup), bread, 2 slices of pizza, 2 beers, and dessert all right at $30 including tax. My next visit will be veal parmesan, the owner told me it's good veal and you'll here it being pounded in the back, so next time, I'm going to order the veal and I'll be listening for...
