Dropped an Oculus off and was told I would be informed before any charges were incurred. Got a call back 2-3 weeks later saying it was the sensors and I had two options, wait a little longer to have them fixed for $105 or come buy another used one they had working for $125 and leave them mine for parts. I chose to buy the one they had. Later got a text telling me mine had water damage and was irreparable, so if I wanted the used one they had it would now be $165 and they still keep my headset. I told them I'll just take the one I dropped off back because I didn't like the sudden status/price chabge and they said that would be $45. Big mess, ended up cutting my losses and just not going back for it. Not paying $45 after I was told I would be informed before any charges were incurred, the diagnosis changed, the price changed, and they made an offer and revoked it within 3 hours. Please please please call Dr.Digital Fix All Devices & Solutions. I was looking for someone to fix my son's Asus gaming laptop and was terrified that it was going to be an outrageous fix. He had it fixed in a day or 2 and his price was more than reasonable! So much so that I included a tip (a well deserved one... (Tip people that does a service for you and a great one at that!!! ) He repeatedly said he had change to give me and I said no please keep it you are so much appreciated 🙏.
