Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Morgantown

Since google keeps asking "How was Long John Silvers?" Here's your answer. It was HORRIBLE!! From the minute I walked in the door.. the smell of old hot grease was the 1st thing I noticed. I placed my order wich took forever to get a 10peice shrimp and fries with a peice of fish on the side. I know its made to order but DA☆M 14 minutes? I go to find a seat after finally getting my food. The whole front window must be where plants go to die because they was all dry half dead and just clustered in the window. The other window had clear plastic taped over it so not sure what was up with that. Most of the tables was dirty, pretty much like the whole restaurant. This place needs a good cleaning and updating severely! I ended up cleaning off my own table in the corner near the exit. The tables, benches, and seats all looked very rough with edges missing from the tables to the upholstery, its just worn out. As I set down to eat I realized while it took so long to get my food.. it was burnt dark brown and tasted of strong grease, the hush puppies was old dry and hard. Ate 2 peices of the shrimp and threw the rest away. I didn't say anything because I don't like to be confrontational just took as mark that off the list of places to eat. So since Google kept asking, now you know.. Don't believe me, go ahead and go check it...

I am not very happy we were in the drive thru today and as we were telling the lady our order she kept saying she couldn't hear me each time I talked louder trying to make it to where she could hear me then she says ok u don't need to scream at me I said I'm trying to talk loud enough u can hear me she had nothing but an attitude when we pulled up to the window I tried to explain the the man that I wasn't being any type of way she just kept saying she couldn't hear me so I talked louder and then she had an attitude and he right away started being straight up ignorant I ordered 2. . 12 piece family meals I will for now on keep my business at KFC they are amazing and have so much respect !!! Long John's better get some ppl in there that know customer service or they are going to lose more and more business I give a 0 on this place...

Hands down worst experience I have ever dealt with at a Long John Silvers. My parents came out of state and had been looking forward to getting LJS all day, since we don’t have them locally where they are from. We pull up to the drive thru (Thursday (Sept 8th), at 8:40 pm) and dealt with the RUDEST employee over the microphone while attempting to order. The attitude we were given over the microphone was completely unnecessary. The lady simply didn’t want us to order and kept interrupting us when we would try to place the order with her unnecessary attitude. If I had an employee working for me that was that rude to customers, they wouldn’t be an employee much longer. We will be finding another LJS to take my parents to. Such a disappointing experience considering they waited all day (12+ hour trip) to have LJS for the first...
