Ok, I was passing through from doing a job in the area, stopped in for lunch, I ordered a BLT, and I told the guy to go heavy on the bacon, he even answered me, “you want extra bacon?” I said yes….. he charged me $12 dollars and change for the sandwich and a medium coffee. When I go out to the truck to open it and start eating, there was like 3 pieces of bacon on it……. Any other day I would have went back in and made a big scene, but I didn’t have the time. Instead he lost a customer for good, when I’m working in the area I will not be stopping back again. And I’m leaving my experience for everyone here who doesn’t want to get ripped off. It was not about the money btw, I would have paid $30 dollars. The point is, I want what I ordered, If your going to charge me for it, which you absolutely should, you better give me what I’m paying for. I am including pictures of my bread and lettuce sandwich……

The bagels were all warm when I picked them up at 7am. Fluffy, chewy, and with not too much center hole. I got my usual veggie bagel with light veggie cream cheese (big chunks of carrot and bell pepper), lettuce, and tomato. I thought I saw they had cucumber but didn’t get any in my bagel. They also have a large selection of bagel flavors including some unusual ones (no one in all of NJ or NY make jalapeño cheddar though, much to my despair). Of course I got my favorite, plain. No line at 7am, they were quick and have plenty of tables and seating inside. Nothing fancy as far as decor, interior was showing its age but you go for the bagels not the atmosphere. Also have coffee cakes, muffins, and some other baked goods. I found parking on the street outside. Credit card surcharge of $1 for any totals less than $10, be forewarned.

So happy TFAB is open on Saturday and Sunday, as my husband and I love a weekend bagel stop. Great east coast style bagels with a boiled outside and fluffy inside. We visited at 1 pm on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of bagels that were still available - it’s not often this that this happens in the afternoon. This will be our go-to spot to grab a dozen bagels moving forward. Last but not least, be sure to add a cup of coffee to your order. Both of the drip coffees (house and crème brûlée) that I tried were delicious.

Horrible Management!!!! I cannot begin to elaborate on how frustrating this place is. (1) if you are planning on calling in an order do not even bother. They have absolutely no idea what is going on (with the exception of one younger blonde woman). To elaborate, I frequently call in before work and every single time I arrive, there is almost ALWAYS a very long line. THE WHOLE POINT OF CALLING IN IS TO BE IN AND OUT. With reason, I cut to the front of the line knowing my order is ready. One by one I began to see the employees go down the line asking customers "are you being helped" meanwhile I am patiently waiting RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REGISTER being ignored. At this point I was so baffled, I went along with with this mess to truly see how horrifically set up this place is. After 10 minutes, I spoke up to the man behind the register (who I believe to be the manager) asking if my order was ready to which point he told me to "wait my turn". Why would I wait my turn when my order is ready? There should be a separate pick up line as apposed to this horrible mess they currently have. Unbelievable and incredibly unprofessional. Point is, DO NOT ORDER FOR PICKUP. IT IS...
