I understand that they have a QR system, lots of restaurants, especially airport restaurants, are doing this and I'm not holding it against them. The service though was poor during my visit well outside of the QR code menu/order setup. I asked for honey mustard in the comment section when I placed the (rather overpriced) order. It didn't arrive with my food, and so I asked for it. The waiter said sure and walked away, and then when she passed about 5 minutes later I asked again. She then motioned at me in acknowledgement, but then walked to the middle of the restaurant where she stands to wait for new customers. I realized she maybe forgot or something, and so I asked a second person. She said sure, and it seemed like she was going to bring it, because while she went to the bar and was busy pouring drinks, she made eye contact with me a few times like she was making sure I knew she would get to me in a minute. However, another 5-10 minutes later I asked a 3rd person, and another 5 minutes later the 1st person brought me honey mustard. The restaurant was not empty, but also they definitely were not swamped, and there were lots of staff. And even then, I would have felt very differently if they had just said "I'm busy with other orders right now, but I'll get to it in a minute" or something. But I was actively being ignored? And a similar situation happened when we asked for soda refills, although it only took two people instead of three. And then when we left, about 15 minutes after we paid, they angrily came to get us walking out the door saying we didn't pay! And then I had to walk over across the restaurant with people looking at me like I had just tried to walk out on a ~$20 ticket and go to the manager, receipt on my phone, waiting for the waiter to come back over and say in fact we did pay. It felt like retaliation for asking for the honey mustard I had ordered, because my payment was right there in...
Read moreI sat at a table and scanned the QR code to order but was presented with an error that it was unavailable for my table and that I need to contact a server. This was necessary anyway, as my table was dirty and needed to be cleaned despite being empty for at least the 5-10 mins I walked back and forth trying to decide to eat here or not. It took around 8 mins or so to get someone flagged down who walked away to get someone else and another 5 mins for someone to come over just to ask me if I just didn’t want to use the code…. I explained and told her the table also needed to be cleaned which she did do thankfully. She was able to clear the error - notably she did not take my order herself - and told me to try again. My food and beverage came eventually and the grilled chicken meal that was marketed on the table card was very dry and tasteless which the restaurant attempts to cover up with slaw and some sauce. It did NOT work, and definitely does not make up for the overcharging they do. I travel a lot and have said it in several of my other reviews, but I will say it again - I definitely understand you pay a premium eating an airport, and I would not complain about pricing except for the complete lack of flavor, service, and care that this restaurant puts forth. If you want to give 2 star food and service, simply charge two...
Read moreFood was decent, expensive for the amount you get (but that is expected at airports). $20 for a chicken sandwich which was decent but not as described... I hadn't eaten lunch so maybe it felt good because I was starving.
You order through an app which is okay, but annoying at the same time.
I continued to work after I ate and the waitress acted like I was personally offending her. Apparently the place started getting busy but I couldn't tell from my angle.
She took my full glass of water away without asking if I was done... So I stayed there even longer because rudeness isn't something that I typically entertain. I can understand her point of view, but would have rather she asked me to give up my spot versus being a passive aggressive shrewd person who is supposed to make me feel welcome and taken care of.
When I got up she thanked me for leaving... That's it... No thank you for coming or have a good day... Nothing. I was about to hand her a cash tip but decided that tips should be reserved for people who deserve it and the service I got was a negative experience.
If you are going to make us put in our own order go ahead and make a pickup window and I can serve myself...
Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other places in...
