I recently had the pleasure of trying the blueberry raspberry cream tart from La Farm Bakery and Cafe while waiting for my flight at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), and it was absolutely amazing. I had seen La Farm while I was downtown in Raleigh, but I didn’t get a chance to stop by, so when I spotted it at the airport, I knew it was my chance before traveling back home.
The tart was incredibly light and airy, with a perfect balance of flavors that wasn't too sweet—just right for a pre-flight treat. The combination of fresh blueberries and raspberries with the creamy filling made for a delightful dessert that left me completely satisfied.
If you're passing through RDU, I highly recommend stopping by La Farm Bakery and Cafe to pick up one of these tarts. It’s the perfect dessert to enjoy before your flight, offering a moment of indulgence without being overly rich. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more of their bakery items and exploring their coffee and drink offerings on my next visit. This place is a must-visit for anyone traveling through...
Read moreLa Farm at the RDU Airport feels that a croissant, 1 piece of sliced deli ham, and no discernable gruyere cheese. Supply chain, staffing all the stuff we are used to, however, we should never forget to add in good old everyday greed. What a shame, I generally like LA Farm, but charging like this is unconscionable. I am an executive chef and understand food cost, and that people need to make a living and help support their staff, however, being conscious that everyone is suffering with inflation, staffing, and supply chain issues, there is no need to charge like this. This comes down to greed, straight up greed and a total disregard for doing what is right and trying to keep margins where they should be. I have always been of the belief that you give people what they pay for, and expect and you will be successful. This is how you loose a long time customer. 5 people hear a good review 50 hear a bad review. Here is my bad review, and I will do everything I can to let 50+ people what LA Farm thinks is appropriate for a $12.00 ham and supposed...

I stopped by this coffee and sandwich spot because the inviting layout caught my eye. After checking the menu, I saw they had decent food options, so I decided to wait in the 10-minute line to order. Unfortunately, the experience took a sharp turn due to a rude and unwelcoming cashier.
It left me wondering—how do they expect tips when the service is so poor? And why do people tip at a coffee shop like this when the staff offers such bad service?
To make matters worse, after I paid with my credit card, the cashier claimed the system went down and tried to charge me again. Thankfully, I’ve been in similar situations before and had my banking app open to show the charge had already gone through. Even then, the cashier insisted I pay again.
Luckily, the manager stepped in and resolved the situation. Their friendly and professional approach saved the day and earned this place 3 stars instead of 1. It’s clear that good management can make a huge difference, but the overall experience still left much...
