System is simple but you have to give a name and phone number. Why do I want another spam call? So I choose my bagel and doughnut, bottle of water ($14, no tip requested) enter a real first name, fake last name, and my old land line number. Only after I pay does it say it will text me the locker code to pick up. Rats. I then can enter my email for a receipt, but the code doesn't go to the email. Rats. Now they have my email. Fortunately, the locker doors are flimsy and I pop one open and speak with the nice lady in the kitchen. She gets my order for me. There is no other obvious way to contact anyone if something is messed up. The bagel didn't say it came with cream cheese in a tub, so I was happy to see it. Pretty decent for toasted plain cafeteria bagel. The sour cream donut I had to toss after one bite. They made it there, but must have done it in the same oil used for everything else. It tasted too much like an egg roll and was pretty saturated with old peanut(?) oil. The menu didn't say it would be made there, and it was piping hot. It took 10 minutes after my order was finished to get the food, and there were only 2 others waiting. This isn't going to be a quick option to bypass the lines at the other food places, so I doubt it will do too well. Interesting novelty for the kids, but I won't do it again.

In the bustling terminal of the airport, amid the whirlwind of travel and commotion, I found convenience in the embrace of a digital food hall, a beacon of modernity and convenience. With a simple tap and swipe, the journey towards culinary delight began, as contactless ordering ushered in a new era of dining. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, promising a quick fix of flavors to tantalize the taste buds. Each fry, golden and crisp, a testament to airport dining innovation and dedication. Yet, amidst the array of delectable offerings, a shadow lingered - the absence of clarity, the yearning for transparency. As I navigated through the menu, the absence of labels for vegan-friendly options left me adrift in a sea of uncertainty. Though the experience was commendable, a minor flaw marred the perfection, beckoning for improvement. Thus, I bestow upon this digital food hall a rating of four stars, a testament to its brilliance tempered by the quest for clarity and inclusivity.

If you’ve ever seen Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmares then you know that a big menu is a big problem. Nothing exemplifies this as well as this place. They have wayyyy too many food options which has definitely degraded the food quality. I ordered the 6 piece “crispy” tenders and they were bad… I mean to start they were $20 but that’s still at least $10 more than they should be. If you plan on eating here you may as well wait till you get to where you’re going, buy Dino nuggets and microwave them as it will still be better than whatever diabolical chicken this place serves. Fries were meh again might as well buy your own from the store cause those will be better. All this on top of a 20 minute wait. EDIT: I can’t believe all these other reviews no way they’re not bots to keep the stars high, I got my order on a Sunday during non peak hours. Do not recommend eating here if crunched on time.

They obviously load or edit their g00gle reviews, because this was a terrible experience and the food was trash. Great concept, horrible execution. Got a burrito bowl, everything went pretty smoothly as far as the ordering and delivery process. Items are relatively reasonably priced if the food were any good, but the food was a disaster, so a pretty bad deal overall.

The bowl was, no exaggeration, 95% rice, a teaspoon of horrible quality “steak”, and they were missing the majority of the items I requested, including the extra chicken and guacamole, both of which I paid an up-charge for. I wasn’t expecting a gourmet meal, but I wasn’t expecting dog food either. The process for correcting orders is to text some 800 number, who went back and forth with me even after I sent a picture of the food. They asked me to go back to the delivery area, but I was already boarding at that point. Eventually they agreed to refund for the items missing, but the meal was a disaster and I ended up not being able to eat the majority of it. Ended up having to order another meal when I landed. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have no other choice or you’re used to dog food. They’ve obviously loaded their...

Update as of April 2024 - this place has come a longgg way and is now a wonderful option at rdu. Super quick, tons of options. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is bc there is no vegan dinner option. Hopefully a few option can be added in the future!

Old post: Grateful for a vegan option but I would NOT recommend coming here unless you have 50+ minutes to spare. Placed my order (2 plain breakfast sandwiches and 2 black coffees) at 6:08am, was told it’d be ready from 6:16-6:26. As of 6:52, food was still nowhere to be found and I had to board my flight. saw multiple people in the same situation while I was waiting. Was able to text with someone who told me the food wasn’t ready yet but would be shortly. I explained I had to board my flight and needed a refund and they told me the refund request was forwarded to a different team and if approved, would be processed in 7-10 days. My guess is they hope people just forget about it and don’t actually process refunds. Super disappointed by the whole experience and suggest you avoid this place at all costs.

Update: I did get my refund within a few days so that is good! Hoping they can work out the timing issues and...
