I used to think very highly of this place and ands supported it frequently. But not anymore.. one afternoon I sitting down enjoying my meal there and it was just me and one other table inside so it was quite which was really nice. A elderly man walked in with a mask on and asked the clerk a question i couldn't quite believe he was asking, "Hello there. I just wanted to check with you first if this is okay but I have covid.. would it still be alright if I ate inside here?" I couldn't actually believe someone had asked that but what shocked me even more is they didn't ask him to leave or to try to at least sit him outside by himself but they allowed him into the restaurant with no quarrel what so ever. Of course the guy started coughing like no other and of course I ended up getting it and got it right before the holidays which was the worst timing. How selfish it was of both the man and the restaurant to allow him in full well knowing he's got covid.. I will not be...
Read moreWe always eat the same stuff when we go to Morro Bay. I wanted taco's so we decided to try this place. We were not disappointed at all. I ordered 2 Carnitas and 1 asada taco. I should've only got 2 they are very filling. They were loaded with meat and very tasty. The only thing is that the asada was a little salty for me. Oh and I was scarred by another restaurant about Carnitas. I learned to ask how they are made. I prefer them to be a little crispy. Here they don't serve them like that but if you ask them to make em crispy they will and that's super cool. My husband ordered a Carnitas torta with his meat crispy. He really liked it. I got a bite to and man it was delicious. We also tried they're guacamole and chips. OMG!!! So good!!! We can't wait to go back. We highly recommend this place. Reasonable prices, friendly employees and very...
Read moreIn my quest for the best chili verde, I requested a chili verde burrito to go. This is a sit down and get waited upon kind of restaurant and business seemed to be moving. There sure seemed to be a lot of happy people coming in and out while I waited for my burrito. I was put in the cooks queue and the cooked called me when my burrito was done. It was a hefty gem and I went to a local, and close by park. Cloister Park. I sat in the park at listened to the birds all around as I enjoyed and quite tasty and meaty chili verde burrito. It was made with very lean, well trimmed pork and was very tasty. maybe a bit mild for my taste, but the heat perked up in my mouth a bit upon completion of the burrito. I will be returning for a second shot and a try at the table service next time. Till then Thanks for the burrito...
