La Plaza Bonita Mexican & Taco — Restaurant in Moulton

12/14/2022 My 1st time time going there. I felt it was kinda sketchy for me personally but my family wanted to eat here so badly. I didn't notice a score card (saying that it wasn't there). But the food was good but the service was horrible. Let me elaborate; I noticed besides my family of 3 black women and 1 (black man) male and his white friend seated in front of us, there were mostly white men sitting. The crazy thing about our hostess is she was also our waitress too but what me and my family noticed as we waited for some extra napkins, she would pick up the pace and ask the white men whatever they need she would have out to them no time time flat. (Extra: the restaurant wasn't crowded approx 4 seated customers including us) However, it took over 30 minutes for her dragging her feet to finally bring us some napkins. I personally wanted to leave (wished I did while I'm struggling to survive in the hospital now:/)

12/15/2022 i had fevers that when I broke them, return within 2-3hrs later, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, shortness of breath, severe weakness in my joints and muscles that i barely could walk, and I was holding down water. So 12/17/2022 i was rushed to the Madison Hospital for for my symptoms. It's 12/20/2022 and I'm still not out of the woods of my acute food poisoning that has triggered another chronic illness Aspirated Pneumonia. I'm now a case study as to why I keep having fever spikes and toxins in my blood that an Infectious Disease Doctor has gotten involved with my current team of doctors to offer help with my food poisoning :') Yes I will be celebrating NY 2023 here at Madison Hospital as they continue to run tests on me. I received cold cheese dip and was told over the phone that it would be replaced, if the nice young lady that told me that didn’t know the proper procedures, then fine I understand. And then when I came in to eat the cheese dip was cold AGAIN but since the waitress never checked on us period I couldn’t tell her until she brought the food out.

But exactly the way you’re rude to me now is how you were in the restaurant when my family had over a $50 ticket, and our waitress never checked on us after the fact. So yes the management is terrible and so is the service. You can keep all of your rude replies I will never patronize this establishment again. And I’m not the only one that’s had multiple problems they just aren’t saying anything, and this isn’t the first time I’ve had bad service I just didn’t write a review. But SINCE THE SO CALLED MGMT WAS RUDE AF...

Very expensive for the quantity you get. Food was good but you don't get much at all. My husband ordered a large loco rice mex tex but the size was more like a small and it was $10! I got tamales, thankfully i order one of each for us to try each of them. Again the flavor is there but the size of them where tiny and at 3.25 each. They all fit on a small plate with room to spare. Our waitress was sweet but we went without drinks for 30 minutes plus and waited on our food a very long time. The salsa is loaded with cilantro, it took me quit a few bites for my taste buds to stop grabbed the cilantro ans tatse anything else in ths salsa. After that it's ok. The cheese dip was pretty good. My husband actually got upset and said he never wants to go back and told me to bring it from 3 stars to 2. Hes one that if he feels that way it...
