Idk why in the world this would have such a high average rating, but I trusted it, and it was a mistake. I was passing through town several days ago looking for somewhere to eat and found The Pink Pig on Google. First, I had to DIG TO DEATH online to find out their location which is just bad for business. After finally discovering their Facebook page and digging a bit to find out where they would be that day, I navigated through a pothole infested, overgown lot where I was finally able to place my order. They didn't have what I wanted, so I settled for something else. Strike one. It was overpriced. Strike two. The quality was abysmal. One side was totally inedible...and a bit dubious to say the least, tasting like it had turned so I didn't even eat that. The other side was VERY POOR quality. The meat was overly greasy and gross, and the sauce was just eh. Strike three.
I'm sure small businesses like this rely on friends and family to boost them when they're getting started, but a 4.9 on here is ridiculously high. A 3.5 would be far more fitting. The choices for eating in this area are admittly somewhat limited, but I think we can do better than this. I do occasionally pass through the area and will not make this mistake again. There are other bbq places as well as mom and pop diners that have GOT to be a better option than a low quality overpriced food truck you have to go on a scavenger...
Read moreI DJ a wedding last weekend and the Pink Pig was the choice the brides mother decided. At first a scratched my head because I've dj many weddings that didn't solely use a barbecue cater. BUT when the owner came with all the fixings and the biggest potatoes I have ever seen I knew everyone was in for a treat. I believe this place has the competition beat hands down. The price is very competitive and affordable. The service is top notch. The staff does everything needed to assure perfection. In fact these potatoes are so big that it was atleast 2-3 meals each. I'm very impressed and will definitely tell everyone about the Pink pig. My new favorite bq catering. I will be back again. Thanks staff...
Read moreHusband picked up Pink Pig on his meal break, we have been dying to try it months. We both got large BBQ loaded fries and split some fried pickles. The fried pickles are AWESOME and the ranch is definitely homemade, it is the best ranch I think I’ve ever had (and I’m really picky). The BBQ on the loaded fries was insanely good but the size of the large fry itself was very small, two orders would make more of a full meal. It was $19 for all of it, the amazing pickles made up for the lack of size of the fries. Do yourself a favor, you haven’t lived until you’ve...
