Bob's Lunch — Restaurant in Moundsville

The food is wonderful and the restaurant is great, but when it comes to the service, it sucks!! They are always under staffed and when I tried to call in a takeout order, I was asked to hold on while the guy got someone's drink order. Then he forgot about me and I sat on hold for nearly 15mins before someone hung up on me! So I call back and told the woman what happened and all she could say is "well we're packed". So RUDE!! No apologies, just we're packed! Then instead of taking my order, she tells me I will have to wait cuz she had someone on the other line first and immediately puts me back on hold! The whole time laughing and carrying on with another woman real loud in my ear while taking the other takeout order, making me wait another 10mins before I finally gave up and hung up! It's horrible that a little hole in the wall place that serves wonderful food (the reason for the packed restaurant) practices such awful customer service! The last 3 times I've been in there Eggs over medium they were litterely burnt brown! I asked the waitress if you know that I ordered over medium eggs and that's what's coming out the window do you think maybe you could have given them back to him and said these are burnt she ordered over medium not overheard. Other times food is just old and cold. And when they either replace the eggs or something from my order everything else gets cold! Not good! I asked her who the owner was and if he ever realizes how his cook is. She says I spoke to the cook and he says his pans were too hot I told her all he has to do is add a little butter or oil to cool the pan down or lower the heat! Let's start with the building inside, it needs a deep clean inside, staff seemed in a bad mood and just had a bad look to them, food took alittle to come out and the hamburger steak was a joke,l had no taste to it besides cooked hamburger, the onions on it tasted like old onions, gravy was for sure out of a jar from like Walmart, mashed potatoes were 100% instant and didn't taste good, the roll smelled bad. I won't be returning the owner should be ashamed of himself, one of the worse places I've ate in awhile.
