Honestly, I wish Google would offer a no-star option because tonight my hubby & I went there. I was told the food is amazing & that's not true. We show up two hrs before closing. The first red flag was when we pulled and hardly any cars there. The second red flag was when we walked in there was no one in there but, the employees. We sat down to give this little business a try because it's not on the busy side of town so we didn't think anything much of it so we finally ordered our meal which was my hubby had tongue tacos and a Dr. Pepper & I wanted a simple bean, cheese, & onion burrito and a Cheerwine. Within 5 minutes we got our food within one bite we realized it wasn't good at all. Then our waitress came over to see how was everything my hubby told her we just want the check she didn't reply but, put her down started to get our plates then bolted to the kitchen then came back laid the check and put it down then left before she came I told my hubby I refused to pay for this meal and I'm going to say something within 2 minutes she returned to gather the payment and I just burst out saying are you really going to charge us when we only took one bite of our food and don't even ask what was wrong with the food. So I finally told her the burrito was cool not warm at all, and his tacos meat was burnt. Once again bolted to the kitchen again to send someone out there to talk to us moments later a man walked over to see what was the problem I just repeated what I had just told the waitress he took my hubby's card out placed on the table told us to have a goodnight. We grabbed our stuff and left.
In short ( I WOULDN'T GO THERE AND WOULDN'T WASTE MY TIME OR MONEY THERE. IF YOU GO GOODLUCK & YOU HAVE...
Read moreOk so I don’t usually review stuff, but I’ve got to this time. Picture this: I walk into this place, and the first things I notice are that it’s just a simple little hole in the wall place, there’s a soccer game on tv, in Spanish, and most importantly, I am the ONLY white guy here. Just straight up surrounded by Mexican dudes in work boots. These are good signs. I have walked into an actual Mexican restaurant. Now we get to the guy behind the counter. I didn’t catch his name but dude is super friendly. Like the kind of guy who just makes it impossible to not smile while you’re talking to him. My experience up to this point is already probably enough for five stars, and we haven’t even gotten to the food yet. I ordered the birria tacos to go. Now, idk if you’ve ever gotten birria to go, but that stuff tends to get soggy like 2 minutes in. Not here. I drove these things 23 minutes home and they were still crispy. Absolutely fantastic taste, with the PERFECT level of spiciness (quick reminder, I’m white, but I’m southern. Adjust expectations accordingly). The only thing I could even slightly knock this place for was the price was a few dollars more than I’m used to paying for birria tacos, but like…they were amazing, and bigger than usual, so it evens out. If you haven’t been here yet, change...
Read moreFirst the good, i had a torta and i thought it was good. My husband had tacos, said they were ok. The employees are nice.
The bad, they really need to update the prices. In the menu it says $6.99 for an order of 4 tacos, and a torta and a borritto. At the bottom of the section it states that price may very by type of meat. After we ordered we didnt expect it to be more then $40. Looking at the receipt they charged us $14.99 for the stake torta , thats more then dubble the listing. For the tacos they charged us $3.55 each taco for one order of 4 and $2.99 for another order of 4. And a chicken burrito for $11.99. All are more then dubble what the price that is listed on the menu. Then we got charged for a custom item and we dont know what that item is. We understand charging a bit more depending on the type of meat but dubble?!?!? I dont think so. We will most likely not...
