I would like to let you know of my GREAT experience at your business. On Friday 10/17/25, I was traveling in my RV towing my F-150 and when I got to the campground in Mt Airy- NC, and unhooked my truck I noticed one of the base plates on my truck was very loose. When I started to check it out, I found two of the mounting bolts were missing from the base plate on the driver’s side. I was lucky the truck didn’t break free from my RV. I called the store at 580 N Andy Griffith Pkwy, Mount Airy, NC Friday afternoon and explained my situation and they said to bring it in on Saturday morning at 9:00 and they would look at it and see if it was something they could help me with. I got there as the doors were being unlocked Saturday morning and explained my situation to Frank Paim, the manager there and told him I needed to be in Long, South Carolina on Sunday. He told me they could try to put the bolts back in, but if the bumper had to be removed to do the job, they could not do it until Monday because it needed 2 people to do that job. They took the truck around to work on it and a little bit later called me back to show me the problem with the base plates. They were able to get 1 bolt in but not both bolts without taking the bumper off, and the base plate on the other side, one of the bolts you could move with your fingers. This was a very dangerous situation and Frank said I should not tow until I could get it fixed. It is now close to 11:00am and Frank said if he had the manpower he could get it done today, but he just didn’t have the help. Well one of the other mechanics just happened to be there on his day off and heard what was going on, and he said he would clock in and help get the job done. Frank told me it would be an overtime job and gave me a high estimate guessing the job could take several hours and was I willing to pay the extra. I was glad that they were willing to help me out, so I said yes, do it. The two mechanics go to work on the truck and in one hour they had the truck done, and got it done before Noon, so it was not on overtime. The total cost was about 1/3 of the estimate because of their fast work and great quality work. I just want to thank Frank and the two mechanics for being sympathetic to my needs and will to go above and beyond to help me out and get the job done!

Read moreI have bought an enclosed trailer and have had two bed liners put on by Leonard’s after buying trucks at Mount Airy Dodge. The bed liners have been great and after my truck salesman suggested I let Leonard’s hook me up with wheels and tires I ordered a set. My reason for one star is the salesman at Leonard’s that I dealt with had no respect for my time. Bedliner was supposed to be done by 1. After turning in my rental car to the dealership at one and walking over to Leonard’s I had to wait until 4. This made me miss an appointment made at 2 for getting my windows tinted. No big deal one time but... I was told to be there at 9 on Friday morning to have wheels and tires put on that would take no longer than 1.5 hours because they would already be mounted and balanced. I hesitantly accepted that appt time because I had already planned to start Memorial Day vacation on Thursday night. When I walked in at 9 Friday morning the entire staff seemed to be having a great time at the front desk when I heard my salesman ask another staff member if my wheels and tires had came in yet. They had not. They had my phone number and they could have easily called me on Thursday to let me know and it would not have been a problem. It would have saved me an hour drive round trip. When I ask for a refund he stated I would have to pay a pretty pricey restocking fee. After a debate the restocking fee was waived but now I’m waiting for my wheels and tires to come from somewhere else and for a refund check to come in the mail and who knows how long that will take. I’m in the customer service business myself and I can guarantee I would be out of business if I did not respect my customers time better than Leonard’s....
Read moreI ordered a 10x12 metal storage building on 5/31/21
7/30 the 1st building is delivered. The building had Numerous problems. The Regional rep was sent, he decided that the building needed to be a replaced !
Prior to the delivery of the 2nd building, Leonard’s requested/insisted I drive to Mt Airey and approve the 2nd building. I’m not their quality control. I contacted their corporate office (Jane) again.
Holly (at the store) assured me there was nothing wrong with this building, so on 9/3 building #2 was delivered. As soon as it arrived, the driver & myself checked the building, which had numerous issues again. I contacted the store, Holly answered ! It was requested I accept the 2nd building & any & all issues would be addressed. I sent 6 pictures to the corporate office.
Leonard’s does NOT acknowledge emails, or inform customers what is being done. I called yet again (Jane) only to be told materials needed to be ordered
9/26 repair man was here for 8 hours ! Building still needs much done as the repair man found much more wrong than I did !
2nd repair man only made matters worse !
Outcome, yet to be determined
So basically if you want a scratch & dent building, and it all being a pain - them buy from Leonard’s
