Long overdue update: I have raised the rating after being contacted by the manager and going over my concerns. We have been there several times since the initial review was posted and the service has improved.
Bit of a disappointing time there. We went on the evening of the 1st and had numerous problems. First off was that it took a very long time for our order to get to our table. If it had been crowded, I would have understood but there was one group who had been there before us, a family of six who was seated after us, and that was about it.
Not only did it take a long time for our food to arrive but the family who was seated after us were served before we were. And when the server arrived with our food, he basically tossed it on to the table and walked off. I had to chase him down in order to ask for some steak sauce and he forgot about it.
When the food did arrive, they made a mistake on my wife's order. I had to actually track down our waitress to explain the problem. To her credit, she quickly corrected the problem and the sandwich was out very quickly. This leads me to wonder why it took so long for our initial order to get to us if they could get a replacement out that quickly.
Finally when it was time to pay the bill, I had to track our waitress down again. It looked like there was some kind of meeting going on over at the bar and one of her co-workers had to point out that I was standing there.
The food is good which is why this isn't a one star review. But in all honesty, you're better off just calling ahead and ordering your food to go instead of...
Read moreIt was mid-afternoon on a Sunday when my husband and I were in the Mt. Airy area and decided to grab some lunch, so we used Google to direct us to "lunch places nearby" and ended up choosing your restaurant. We had never been here before and are always looking to try new places, so we thought we would give it a try.
The bar area where we entered was somewhat busy, but we were able to seat ourselves and it didn't take long for our waitress to introduce herself and take our drink order. Our waitress was very pleasant and professional. The other staff in the restaurant smiled at us as they walked by and a few of them stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. We were going to order some sandwiches, but looking at the other items coming out of the kitchen, we decided to try of few of the appetizers. We chose the onion rings, the chili, and the egg rolls. Everything was very good and filling. We didn't get to try the sandwiches because the appetizers ended up being enough, but because we had such a great first time experience with the food, service, and staff, we know that we will make it a point to visit again so we can try the other items on the menu.
This is why we prefer to shop local, we are so glad to find another really enjoyable local place where they take the time to make their guests feel at home. It seems like your place strives for that type of customer experience, so thank you for your hospitality!...
Read moreTried here for the first time, what lured me was the menu and how many wing flavors they have. It was super busy and clustered, which is odd in these covid times. It was so loud I practically had to bump shoulders to speak to anyone. I know it’s a sports bar but louder than any I’ve been to. The service was very slow, like even slower than I’d expect during busy time. The drinks were good but they took forever to arrive too. Didn’t see our server too often, and when another employee walked around checking tables, she couldn’t answer a question for us. After that I’d see her head to our table to check on us then literally turn heels and seemingly avoid us. When we were ready to leave, which wasn’t long, it was literally 10 minutes before our server returned with card and receipt. Overall, it seemed like a happy local spot, where people come to cheer at games and talk amongst each other. We were quiet newcomers and it seemed like it was less appealing to deal with us than the other happily...
