The live band was great. All the food was fresh and hot. The only disappointment was they had no bleenies, potato cakes. We were told they couldn't get anyone to do them. I know it's labor intensive. I grew up helping my elder Polish aunts to prepare for St. Joseph's block party in Shamokin. I can only hope our community will pull together to make them next year. I'd be happy to...
