Mount Carmel Area Silver Bowl — Attraction in Mount Carmel Township

This was my first time at the “silver bowl” and I was excited to watch the highly anticipated “coal bowl” between mt Carmel and Shamokin. The kids on both sides played well, but the staff apparently was so broken after getting beaten 21-0 that they threw a tantrum and turned the lights off on Shamokins side. As an unbiased observer, I thought their lack of sportsmanship was abhorrent. Will now root against Mt Carmel every chance I get. Also, I have no idea where the $6 per ticket goes, but the bleachers appear to have been in place since the dawn of time. Do better...

SHAMOKIN AREA INDIANS-21! ~ MARNT CARMEL RED TOMATOES-0 ....so we win the COAL BUCKET ...imediately THEY turn OFF the SCOREBOARD ... They hand over the COAL BUCKET for our boys to celebrate.. AND TURN OFF THE STADIUM LIGHTS ON THE VISITOR SIDE OF STADIUM!? ...i'll ALWAYS remember that chit'y...

Mt carmel vs north schuylkill need I say more? My only complaint is it is impossible to find handicap parking and when u do it's far from the main gate. If you want ice tea get it early they were sold out...
