Taqueria Los Pingüinos — Restaurant in Mount Clemens

came here, very excited to enjoy some food with my wife, paid 20$ for 2 tacos OVER priced, then it comes and there is like noo meat on one of them and they say this is how it comes and i can pay for another but they are pre-portioned this way and nothing can be done. Will not come back, save your time find another place to go to!! edit: girl up front noticed i was leaving a review and came to our table as i was trying to eat the 5 pieces of meat they gave me, trying to say that she said she will give me a taco and calling me “babe listen to me this is what i said” completely u professional, as i walked out she was being rude implying to not come back, i couldnt believe the unprofessionalism, what ever happened to the customer is always right? ive worked in the food industry for years, if they keep letting this little girl run this place there going to have no...

The people are very nice and the flavors are great! What I would give as constructive criticism is to ditch the plastic cutlery, and offer a size up on chips and salsa for a fee. I feel like the reason places fail in this spot is it's just not a relaxing atmosphere to eat in and should be more full service. If it had been busy it's not convenient to have to walk down to read all the overhead menus also. I hope they make it but truly there is nothing that would draw me more often than very occasionally, sadly. I would have loved to see a traditional wet burrito...

The food here is pretty elite, so fresh and authentic! Went at lunch time on taco Tuesday so it was a little busy, but that's too be expected. My friend and I couldn't stop eating, it was so good! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, there are so many delicious options to choose from. Definitely will go again, even after working hours I'll have to come back with my husband. He was jealous hearing about it. FYI it is a little cheaper...
