Been years since I have been back to Mothers. I just so happened to be out in the area for a change with my son. We both ordered burgers, onion rings and loaded fries. Let me tell you, an amazing hand packed and juicy 1/2 pound burger cooked medium!!!! Salt and peppered too! Fresh lettuce, onion and tomato. No hockey pucks here!!! I can’t tell you the last time we have had such a good burger. This is not a large eatery but don’t let that fool you. On Monday there was one staff member and I think the manager. Our food may have taken a little time but we’ll worth it! Support our local restaurants! The loaded fries did not look that loaded but they were delish. Good fried. Hood rings. Good ranch. UPDATE: To Owners, I updated the review since 6/25 so no you wouldn’t see it dated 6/25. The review was just to inform you of your staff failure so other patrons don’t have to experience the same treatment (ignored) and so you could hopefully fix the error, that’s was all. I’ll be back to try again. Man I hope they wake up and greet people because they are the face of your business NOT RECOMMENDED - Our first time here, and our last. We walked in about 9pm Sunday 6/25/23 (they close at 12.30am) to get some food and drinks. It’s a small bar area and neither of the blonde bartender even LOOKED at us as they were too busy partying with the 2 or 3 people sitting at the bar to be bothered I guess. We were not greeted at the door (they have a hostess area as you walk in) nor were we greeted when we sat at the bar, no eye contact and there was like 3 patrons and the 2 workers. Nothing. So we just looked at each other like F THIS PLACE, stood up and walked out. Didn’t hear a peep from them as we stood up to leave and trust me, we will never be back and will be spreading the word. And yes, we LIVE in Mount Clemens. Pretty sad experience that I hope the owners can address, I saw an article with the 2 young owners and thought I’d stop in and hopefully it could be a regular spot so I could support their business. I've always loved coming here and either getting the burger or the wings. The only place that I really enjoy bone-in wings. Normally I'll eat boneless. Last night we seen our waitress once and then never again. The bartender came over to our table to get a drink order and originally said she couldn't take our food order. We had decided to leave and she came over again and asked what we wanted to eat and we said we were good and we could tell that she let us down. It was just her and one other person (our original waitress) so we understood. We didn't want to be the reason that she had a horrible night. I hope it's not a reoccurring problem to only have 2 people there on a busy Friday night because we went to another place and they were busier and we had food and drinks right away. So hopefully it was a one time thing here. I've always enjoyed the food and drinks here and the bartender was absolutely amazing. So apologetic and was willing to rectify any problem we had. Just need more help on a Friday night to maintain the business or you will lose it to other bars...
