ABBIBO — Restaurant in Mount Clemens

I’ve updated this post because I still enjoy going there. The pictures are from last night because I went there for dinner again and I wasn’t disappointed. I had steak bites medium rare and chicken fingers and fries. Their honey mustard was a flavor explosion. So very good!!

A friend of mine a local and a regular of Abbibos and is on Facebook always showing pictures of his meals and they always look so good. I also live locally and have been here a couple other times just for drinks never food. Their bike nights are pretty busy fun and extremely entertaining especially if your a people watcher. Tonight I went there got great service by the bar tender as he took the time to with me as of course I am indecisive. There was a ton of stuff on the menu that was reasonably priced and of course when your hungry everything is an option. I went with their jack and coke burger. I got to choose what kind of fries to get which they offer waffle fries, baked, mashed, and the steak fries which I went with. Abbibo bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Was excited to try this place because I had heard good things, but can't say that I will ever go back after the experience my friend and I had there. We had ordered artichoke dip, and when it came out, discovered that only the top was warm, while the bottom portion was cold. We asked if they could simply heat it up in the microwave. The server took it to the kitchen, and then the cook began pitching a fit, yelling at the server, swearing, and talking bad about us. We were sitting near the kitchen and heard everything.

We paid for our drinks and cancelled our orders, because we sure didn't want any food coming out of the kitchen after that.

Can't help but feel bad for the server, who did nothing wrong in this. She got yelled at for no reason by the cook and then kept apologizing like she was at fault. She was not and her service had been great the...
