Dunkin’ — Restaurant in Mount Holly

Don’t bother going to this location unless you want to get yelled at by a worker or hear her yell/bully other workers. I have never been met with such unfriendly, aggressive behavior as I did when I picked up my order this morning. Based on previous reviews it seems this worker is a huge problem.

I placed a Mobile order for drive thru pick up but once I got there and saw the line was long I decided to go in and pick up my order. I went inside and waited about at the mobile order pick up counter. There were 4-5 workers who completely ignored me the whole time so I went up to someone who was making drinks and stated I had a pick up order but I did it through the drive thru can I pick it up here? This worker looked at me blankly and didn’t answer my question. that is when another heavy set female worker came up to us and out of no where, yelled “HOLD UP WHAT DO YOU WANT” I had thought she had hear my conversation with her coworker and so I stated I have a mobile order can I get it? The coworker responds and said “HOLD ON I JUST ASKED FOR YOUR NAME” (which she did not) and continued to be very rude and aggressive. This was in front of the whole store. I gave her my name and she started to talk to me rudely again and that is when I stopped her and said you don’t have to be rude about it, thank you. As I walked away from the extremely uncomfortable situation once she gave me my order, she yelled something at me again which I could not hear. I felt threatened to the point where I had to leave the situation before it got worse.

Mind you this is the second time I’ve seen this worker act inappropriately. A few days prior in the drive through line, she was yelling at the other workers because they misplaced something. This was when I was at the pick up window and I could hear everything. This worker clearly did not care that a customer was right there and could hear her. I can only assume this worker is a manager and if it’s that’s the case, I feel badly for the rest of the workers who have to deal with this unnecessary aggression on a day to day basis.

Something told me to go to another Dunkin before I came to this new location in Mt. Holly. Wanted to see how this location was since it is new. First off, the location is located in an awkward spot. If you are traveling north from Belmont, you have to make a U turn at the light past this location, once you get there, parking spaces are limited in the front of this place, and some on the back end. I visited this location on 3/25, Saturday morning to get a box of joe and donuts for an event I was attending in this area. First off, the team here are not professional and the manager is questionable here. A lot of teens messing up orders and having conversations that should be communicated outside of work and not for the ears of customers. The young lady that took my order took forever to make my order (I was the only one in the facility at the time). She was too busy conversating and seeing what everyone else was doing, the manager had to tell her to finally make my order after some time. The box of joe when they handed it to me , the handle was completely broken off. Had to hold from the bottom. Also, when making the joe, the young lady made hot chocolate instead of coffee that I ordered. I also asked for extra cups and they were going to charge me .25 cent EACH cup. Never had this issue with any other Dunkin I have visited. Due to this incident, I WILL NOT be returning to this location. Really love going to Dunkin just started getting the pumpkin spice latte while going through the drive through and getting our latte I open it to make sure everything is right and the latte is half full like when you get a large you pay for a large so I take it back in for someone to maybe fill it up and I get what I paid for and when I did there was a girl in there with the worst attitude I ever seen all she had to say was did you drink any of it I said no I didn’t and finally when she was finished making them she handed them to me and rolled her eyes and walked away I went back to the counter and said excuse me I need your name and she refuse to give me her name no one in the store new the corporate number saying that they don’t have to give me their name but it’s okay I just wanted what I paid for and if that is dunkin makes them half full then that’s fine someone could have said that instead of literally showing me they hated their job the girl that had the worst attitude with the blonde and black hair in a pony tail going down her back I understand some people hate their jobs but as a customer I didn’t appreciate that...
