I have been a dedicated customer to this establishment for two years. Every week me and my boyfriend would come to this eatery. We have spent hundreds of dollars here out of our own pocket, and I will say- it is NOT worth it! The service has never been there in productivity and the atmosphere definitely leaves something to be desired. One open room with empty, clustered tables and awkward teen music. We used to ignore that since the food tasted so well, until now. The sauce in the Thai plates leaves your mouth feeling plain as the sauce is 90% water 10% broth. It is disappointing to say the least. This week has been a rough week at work for me, so I decided to give this restaurant another shot which I will NOT be doing again. I was at work and ordered, online, a pickup order for 8:30. I received a text at 7:30 saying my food was ready for pickup. I called, understandably upset, asking why my order was fulfilled an hour earlier than I wanted. It isn’t like I could get my food- I was at work! No one wants cold soggy food or a watered down $7 iced tea. The lady, abby, on the phone seemed to disagree. She did not know why I was upset. After a long hold I was told my food would be remade in time for the 8:30 pickup. The time comes around and I go inside right on time to pickup my food. I was told it would be a minute and to sit down. I waited 15 minutes for a sushi platter and iced tea! The entire time Abby was glaring at me and didn’t say a word of kindness. Just short and to the point, “take a seat, your food will be out soon”. The manager, a white lady with black hair (Alexis), kept calling me Ariel as well. That is not my name. It felt very petty and immature let alone UNPROFESSIONAL! I have picked up food from this mock establishment before and never had to wait or if I did, it wasn’t longer than 5 minutes! Here’s the kicker- THEY GAVE ME MY ORIGINAL ORDER! The one made at 7:30!! My food is cold and hard as a rock. This is SO disappointing, I cannot even begin to explain. Do NOT waste your money or time here! It will be for nothing on the lower end, or a meal of mild enjoyment at best.
I wanted to edit to say if my food was made fresh, that is even worse. I paid $10 for a molten chocolate cake that’s as hard as a rock, and the ice cream completely melted. That is a waste of money. The fact this wack establishment tries to say everyone deserves respect yet gave me NONE when my order was messed up shows the hypocrisy driven into the walls of this place. They cannot own a mistake and would rather make the customer feel guilty for speaking up than to claim it. This may be one review out of many, but this is the most honest one you will find as a dedicated patron who has eaten...
Read moreMy wife really likes a certain dish here. So, we have been coming once a week for the last 2 years. There have been a lot of inconsistencies during our visits. From undercooked chicken wings, undercooked veggies, overcooked meats, bland flavors, wrong order given multiple times, long waits for food, and overpriced for the portion size. I would blame turn-over with wait staff, but this is a culmination of both houses. Front house; train you wait staff. My goodness, what a shame. They will push anything you order as their favorites. Today, I was recommended the beef jerky and sticky rice. What a mess. The side sauce for the rice had to be a chef's prank. It was so salty, wasn't edible, just gross. The waitress was made aware and could care less. She even admitted no one likes the sauce anyways. Why suggest it? Awful, shouldn't have paid for that. Nonetheless, the bill was presented in full. Due to the inconsistent experience, sticky menus, lack of ambiance, feeling a lack of compassion for their food quality...I will not be returning. It's a shame, so much potential and so little passion.
I appreciate you reaching back out. Let me be clear, I am aware of how to ask for a meal to be deducted from my bill. And as far as the wings, I had ordered them there before and had them redacted from the bill because they were bloody undercooked. So, I call the marinade excuse bunk. Yes, my wife ate her meal. I ate the beef jerky because I was excited to quail my appetite. I paid the bill because I ate 50% of my dish. However, the waitress needs to inform people if a dish is salty and "most people hate that sauce", after I order it. Also, take criticism with grace and learn from your mistakes. It only makes you better as a business. Defense and excuses are not going to cut it. Value your customers, walk the floor, ensure service and food is top notch. Don't point the finger. We chose you and you disappointed....
Read moreIf I could do zero stars I would. I had been here once before and food wad ok so one day leaving work I called in to place a pick up order. Less than five minutes later I called to ask them if I could dine in instead. The host said yes, so I parked and came in. It was so hot I was looking forward for one of their thai tea.
As soon as the host sat us down the server (blond - I don't have her name) came in and told me I could not eat there, there were other customers pretty close and they all looked at us, i felt like I had done something wrong, so I asked her what she meant and she said I had placed an order and I needed to take it dine out, so I told her I had called and asked if that could be changed and she said that I needed to take my food outside and that I could sit in their uncovered front patio METAL CHAIRS, I looked at the weather on my phone at it was 100F (feels like 106) this was 1pm when the sun was at its highest. I asked her if she'd sit down and eat there with this heat, and she told me that yes, she would feel good. I asked her to cancel the order and walked out. I touched the metal chairs; there's no way that someone could sit down to eat comfortably. I don't appreciate her tone, if she had rules to follow there were ways to explain them and not make us feel like we are being walked out and banned for changing from take out to dine in in 5 minutes. If the food was un container and they would have charged us extra for placing them in plates that would have been accepted but I feel like she was just rude, having a bad day and total disregard to customers not just me but the people that were eating nearby heard and looked at me...
