The Summit Beer Shop — Restaurant in Mount Holly

What an awesome bottle shop! This is a tap room/bottle shop with a food truck and tables nestled in an adorable outdoor sitting area out back. We started indoors with just one beer and then headed to the back for food and more beer. I will caution you though, if you want to remember this adorable place in downtown Mt.Holly NC, don’t go to Muddy River Distillery first. As a weakling who can’t handle her drinks, I destroyed my opportunity to brag about how great this food truck is due to the fact that I had three drinks over the course of 4 hours prior to visiting and therefore cannot remember what I ordered. I have it on good authority that the food was fantastic, as described by my DD and the others in my group. Apparently I loved the beer and food and left no crumb or drop unturned. Next time I visit it will be to shop more in this so cute it hurts little town and explore the area as well as to actually remember my experience. Beer selection was good and happy with that. The part that I do not like is that when they closed out my friends tab - the total was 7 dollars and change for 2 cans of beers. When she looked at the bank receipt the next day - she was charged 30.00 That was NOT a PENDING transaction but a fully processed charge..... When she called to confront the situation they said this is normal and asked for the details from the receipt and said it should be posted correct in 3-4 business days. And to check back. So she has to a follow up and now keep checking her bank to make sure she was returned her money??? yea that sounds like a normal transaction. I wonder how many other that they have gotten with this process as well. This just shows you that they can charged what they wanted and hope that you do not catch it. Buyer BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check you bank statements.

Neat little bottle shop with beer on tap & in coolers and overall a nice place to hang out. This is the place to be if you like craft beers/trying out new and different beers and breweries! You can call and order food from restaurant/bar across the street & they usually have a local food truck out front too.
