A welcome addition to the Mt Horeb culinary scene. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The typical appetizers for an Italian dinner: bruschetta and calamari. Both were prepared well, had nice presentation, and tasted very good. The calamari was not chewy (overcooked) and had just the right amount of crunch coating. The bruschetta was fresh tasting, and I liked the bits of mozzarella in with the tomatoes. For entrees, let's start with the chicken parmigiana. First off, it looked huge, overflowing the plate. That's because it was pounded so thin. Besides there being a bit too much breading, it was nicely seasoned and tasted real good. The lobster risotto was tender, sweet, and buttery. I wish the risotto was alittle creamier. Beyond that, a thumbs-up. I loved my Chicken Piccata. Tender, thin pieces of chicken with a fresh lemon pop, complemented nicely by the salty-tangy capers. The broccoli had just the right amount of crunch to them, not limp and soggy. The pork chop was another hit. It was a huge, tender, tasty hunk of meat, perfectly seasoned (salt & pepper.) It was not dry or overcooked. We only wish there was more bourbon glaze. Otherwise, you gotta see it to appreciate how big it is. The coffee rubbed steak was also another great tasting dish. Prepared to a perfect medium. Tender and tasty with every bite. The red wine reduction really added a boost of flavor. Yum! The pasta sides were prepared tableside, in a wheel of parmigiana. Great idea; the cheese melts into the pasta, adding a bit of creaminess to it. The pasta dish had a nice, salty, creamy, cheesy taste to it. Getting desserts were also a must at an Italian restaurant. I make the best tiramisu you will ever taste, but this was close. The ladyfingers were not overly soaked and soggy. The mascarpone cheese was light and creamy, not thick and heavy. The cannolis had a nice crunchy shell. I felt the cannolis could have had a more sweetness and cinnamon taste. All in all, a very good dinner experience, and we would definitely go again. They just opened, so I believe the menu will continue to improve with time. Definitely worth a...

Food was very bland. I had the Pazzesco And I was not impressed! The noodles were cold and overcooked, the sausage was good, the meatball super dry, the beef ragu little to none. The pasta was very dry, the wife got the Zucchini noodles I forgot what it was called and added crispy chicken, she is not picky and said it was the worst dish she has had, also very bland and had to add salt and pepper and still didn’t help, the best thing we had was the Bruschetta I thought that was pretty good, and the whisky and the wine, the chairs super uncomfortable and small can barely fit a butt cheek lol. We sat at a huge table and that was kind of weird since it was just us two. I would probably never go back. Not worth the money for boxed pasta. Also wish they had better dish options, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Alfredo and some other things. Last thing my dish came on a plate and not a bowl so was very hard to mix the dish. I had to ask for a bowl. Waiter was nice but very slow I forgot I even had one. Need to be more attentive we waited almost 30 mins before the order was taken. And it wasn’t busy. If my waiter would have came to the table I would have told him. The one dish was comped and tossed in the trash! The wine poor ahh normal! Authentic not at all, boxed pasta is not authentic, gotta...

Mount Horeb 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for Vita Bella Italiano Ristorante !!! 1st time experience. Absolutely incredible!! Ambiance...beautiful. Live jazz. We asked for a perfect table and request granted. Penne dish was amazing! Hubs ordered steak...amazing. Table side Caesar salad created by our waiter. Calamari was incredible! Food was sooo mouth watering! We were even asked to sign a guest book and add our personal notes! Can you say.... "family"?! Staff was on point for a busy Saturday night! Big surprises coming soon for this place. Nostalgia at its best! Can't wait and highly recommend. Tiramisu was also to die for!! Go, go, go...!!! Ohhhh, and the Owner... top notch quality!! LOVE THIS PLACE SO...

The service was very friendly, lots of timely check-ins . The menu has options for all, we didn’t see a drink menu. The portions were large, with over all a good quality meal. The chicken parm side table cheese wheel was entertaining, but a bit clunky with its overall delivery and outcome. The addition of a good bread with the pasta would have added to it. The pazzesco was loaded with meats and pasta and was very filling. The addition or option for seasoning (salt/pepper) and fresh parmesan or a good cheese could add a pop. The dinner was good, it just didn’t have the flavor wow to get 5 stars….yet but with a bit of work and some pop in their flavors it could get there

I was super excited to try this Italian spot I've seen posted in my socials but was a bit let down. The food was okay but not superb for the $. Service needs some work, waiter not as attentive, not sure if it's a short staff issue or individual. Lobster risotto dish portion size was on the smaller side. Lobster was a bit cold but tasty and the rissoto was good. Chicken parmesan dish was good but nothing special, huge portion of chicken. Pasta is mixed table side in a cheese wheel.
