We chose Driftless Social for the long-anticipated "settling of the football wagers dinner," and it did not disappoint -- and not only because I was eating and drinking for free 🤣 First, my only critique of the place -- it's a little crowded. But they're working with the space they have. Bourbon Sidecar martini was excellent, as were the smoked onion dip and smoked salmon dip apps. Two of us had the bleu cheese-crusted filet & shrimp combo, both with hash browns for a side. Steak was good, shrimp (I chose coconut shrimp) and hash browns were excellent. A side note: the owners are descendants of the Smoky's family, so the hash browns (and onion rings, which we didn't try) are Smoky's recipe. The third had the seared scallops, which he said were excellent, with a side of seasonal veggies (😒). The only dessert option was Peach Cobbler cheesecake. Could've been a tad peachier, but it was very good. One of our group opted for a Golden Cadillac ice cream drink instead, and he said it was very good. Overall, Driftless Social is a must-try. Can't wait to make (win) next season's football bets!

Another dinner & drinks tonight. The New York Strip was excellent, had to try a side of Rice Pelof, amazing. and once again Allison's grass hopper is the best I've ever had. Not easy when the bar is set so high from the first few times we've been there to follow it up, but they do everytime... Scott & Cathi will be back..!!

My husband and I love going to Driftless Social! Their food is phenomenal and I’m a sucker for their martinis. Their service is great! Shout out to Tim who kept us happy the whole time we were there! They also host a ton of fun events! We went to their Kentucky derby party and had a great time!

I just would like to start by saying that I’ve never written a restaurant review in my life. This will be my exception. The service here was truly awful. We were sat early for our dinner reservation at 630 and waited probably a good 25 mins to even see a server for a cocktail. When we finally did see someone we ordered drinks and appetizers. Another 15 mins later when our drinks came she asked us if we wanted to order dinner? So we did. After finishing that drink (maybe 20mins) she asked us if we wanted another round before our food came. So we ordered another round. Those drinks came out in a reasonable time. Then our food came another 20 minutes, No appetizers. 3 of the 4 of us had the new York strip. 2 medium rare and 1 medium. Mine was medium well (ordered medium rare) and all gristle! And the other medium rare was well done! We got about half way through our meal before she asked how everything was and if we needed anything 😂. I told her that mine was awful and she said that she would send the owner over. So we waited another 10 mins for that and he came to our table wearing a ball cap and smacked his mint gum in my ear the whole time I was explaining what happened. He didn’t really seem to care what I had to say 😂 so here I am! Overall one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I came hungry and left that way. Very disappointed after hearing such wonderful things about this place. I’ll be back when it’s no longer the...

We went to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Food overall was good. Drinks are excellent. service was really good.We were sat early for our reservation, Waitress arrived with water and drink menus immediatly,Got drinks fast and she spaced out the appetizer ans meal perfectly. I had the 10 oz strip steak and hash browns .Hash browns were huge with cheese and onions my wife ordered the scallops at market price. Should have checked price when we ordered because it turned out to be 12 .00 per scallop!,Order was 5 good size scallops ,with rice pilaf which was large and very good for 68.00! My wife enjoyed them but she said she's had better. My steak was cooked to the proper medium rare, but was kind of fatty and gristle. could have trimmed it better and called it a 6 ounce steak. Fried calamari was good. they comped us a bowl of ice cream with creme de menthe. Seeing the other dinners around us,the walleye looked outstanding, and I'd do the filet and shrimp combo next time. Overall a positive experience, We NEVER spend 170.00 for dinner but was our anniversary. Pluses Bourbon old fashioned were strong and tasty wife's Bees Knees martini was good too. don't have 4 drinks, and bill would be 45.00 less. will go back and try ...

We went in for an early dinner at 5pm. Called ahead as there was no info about needing reservations. Was glad I called as there were no available tables before 7 except at 5. There was no information online about needing a reservation...so a website would have been helpful. We had martinis to start which were very good and two entrees. Filet mingnon and sauteed mushrooms and coconut shrimp wiith green beans on the side. The steak was subpar the cut was thin and was as over done.I ordered medium rare and overall it really lacked seasoning! And needed salt! Really was dissapointed there.

The shrimp however were very good, cooked perfectly, came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce which I felt was overpowering and unnecessary but still good.

2nd entree was the smashburger with hasbrown side. The hasbrown also lacked seasoning and needed salt. The burger was nice and juicy and was worth the $15.

Service was great. The decor was confusing...tiki bar meets art deco with gambling machines.?..not sure what vibe they are going for ...but the crowed seemed pleased. I would go back for martinis...
