Stumbled upon Honky Tonk Creamery while searching for live music in Mt. Juliet on a rare, child-free date night with my husband--and wow, what a find! This place is the perfect mix of an old-school honky tonk and a family-friendly ice cream parlor.

We rolled up around 9:30 PM to a lively crowd and were immediately intrigued by the setup--ice cream, a full bar, and stage w/ great sound. A quick check of their website revealed that Chandler Dozier and his band were playing, and let me tell you, they absolutely nailed it! They delivered a killer set full of honky tonk classics--Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Glen Campbell, George Strait, and more--plus some awesome originals.

The staff was top-notch, super friendly, and on point with service. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the whole atmosphere was just right. What really impressed me was how family-friendly the spot was--perfect for a fun night out whether you're with your partner or bringing the kids along.
