I searched far and wide for a new stylist (mine moved). I had some requirements as someone that hadn't really paid attention to their hair in a while... I wanted someone that truly understood curly hair and knew how to give me a curly girl haircut. I wanted upfront pricing and not to be shocked at the checkout. Not only did studio FX deliver on those big things, But their customer care from my initial consultation to appt check-in and the whole process was superb. I had not been treated like a queen in a salon in forever. They were kind and gracious and took their time. When I say "they", I mean the whole team, including the owner, the stylist, and the assistants. To get the level of service I did at the price I did and to feel GREAT about my hair for the first time in a couple decades says so much. If you need a curly girl cut, I cannot recommend Lisa enough. If you need advice on middle aged hair - these are your ladies. For everyone else, it's truly just a stellar salon...
Read moreOmg....I'm the type of girl who always thinks a certain color or style I see on someone else will look good on me lol. It's never turned out that way. So I went to Studio FX and Lisa and Sandy(the owner) gave ne a free consultation. I let them give me their suggestions and came back a few days later and I told Lisa do what u want. Tell me what u think will look good. Her and Paxton her associate tag teamed me....they tried out different shades against my face looking at my skin tone and my eye color and said "can we do this?" And again I said do what u want and they were so excited about it. They picked a color I never would have EVER picked and when they turned me around in that chair I was ABSOLUTELY floored!!! Oh my goodness it was absolutely gorgeous, and they taught me how to style it myself!!! I love Lisa and Paxton and will NEVER let anyone else touch my hair!!! And a plus was they have the greatest personalities, we laughed so much in...
Read moreMy first haircut experience was disappointing. Although the barber was very precise, the whole process took nearly an hour, which was a bit different from what I expected. In addition, the child's clothes, pants and the inside of his body were covered with broken hair. It was very uncomfortable to wash my hair, the foamy water got into my ears, and the clothes on my whole back were soaked. Despite trying to dry the clothes with a hair dryer, the clothes were still damp, making me worry about the health of my children over the winter. The overall $38 experience made me question the value and prompted me to give up on going to this store to get my kids’ haircuts. I called to make sure they do cut the kids’.But I thought maybe here wasn’t a good place for kids to get their hair cut. At least they need to be faster and...
