Lived here for a year and a half. All of the staff members were very respectful and helpful at any moment. Unfortunately the one star review reflects the property, and its downsides.
For pricing you’re just simply over paying. How they feel their pricing is justified is beyond me. Amenities are minimal and nothing extraordinary.
My wife and I the first eight months of living here went without paying for a reserved spot. But after the property became over populated and with us working night jobs we would come home to no spots available. We had to park in a lot next to the complex and walk over. The next morning we both had warning stickers on our driver windows. When I raised the concern with the front office I was given a general answer that they are working on it. Well nothing ever showed so we were forced to grab the next available reserve spots which are $40 a piece. And when someone is in your spot you’re just out of luck.
They have valet trash which is more of a downside than a positive. They don’t monitor or uphold their regulations around hours you can set your trash out for pick up and when to be collected by. With the apartment doors being on the interior the halls just smell like trash during valet trash days.
Piggybacking off of that, the dumpsters are always over filling. Which means people just toss trash on the ground. The property has a problem with stray cats and even seen raccoons that come and rummage through the trash on the ground.
The elevator in building 2093 constantly was in and out of service. Also went around 2-3 weeks with a buzzer just consistently going off.
My wife and I had a 3 bedroom unit. In the hotter months our bedroom got no air versus the rest of the apartment. We had black out curtains on the floor to ceiling windows and it was like the heat was turned on. During summer months we had to sleep in one of our other bedrooms because it was so unbearable.
The mail room is a nightmare. Unsure why they didn’t just go with parcel lockers. But if you haven’t dealt with a place that has a mail room. When you order packages they don’t come to your door unless you live in a townhome. But if in an apartment your package goes to this mail room. Packages are constantly moved around and not where they should be making it a pain to find your package.
The maintenance team though was great. It’s two guys they are quick and do great work.
Hopefully this review helps for those looking at moving into a new place. I enjoyed the staff and maintenance team but the way the property is laid out, some of the ways it operates, the minimal amenities, and inconveniences is no where near dealing with each and every day to pay the price they...
Read moreI was excited to move into this community and truly enjoy the living space itself. However, my experience with management, communication, and maintenance has not met expectations. The additional fees and charges are much higher than what I’ve encountered elsewhere, and water/sewer averages around $100–120 per month, compared to the $20 I’ve consistently paid in other rentals, even when owning a house!!! When I’ve asked for clarification on these charges, I haven’t received clear explanations, and in fact, the more I questioned, I just got unanswered emails. Recently, we even received notice that, following an audit, residents were “not being charged enough” for water, and management is now back-charging us for their error—without providing any proof of actual water/sewer bills. These types of charges feel unreasonable and lack transparency, especially when requests for clarification go unanswered.
On top of that, there is also a “community electricity” fee, which I’ve never been charged at any other property. It doesn’t make sense for residents to be responsible for powering the leasing office, coffee area, and other shared spaces.
I’ve also reached out multiple times requesting copies of paperwork and updates, but often don’t receive responses or follow-through of the documents I was told I’d have a copy of. It took three months for a maintenance issue from move-in to be resolved, and in general, service is very slow unless it’s considered an emergency. While I will say the management team is friendly, the level of professionalism, efficiency, and communication needs significant improvement.
It’s also worth noting that many of the five-star Google reviews appear to come from individuals connected to the leasing office, which does not reflect the true resident experience.
It’s disappointing because we do enjoy the apartment itself, but unfortunately the way the property is managed has been the most frustrating experience I’ve had compared to other places...
Read moreLiving here for a year, so lots to say… Pros: looks nice from both outside and inside. High quality furniture. It makes you feel this is a luxurious place to live. Cons: that feeling fades away quickly because of several issues: 1. Parking: very limited parking. If you get home around 8-9pm, it is hard to find lots. It is worse in the winter because many people stay home. 2. With this type of apartment complex, be aware that you would need to walk pretty far from your car to your apartment, regardless where you park/live, so it’s pretty inconvenient if you need to carry many stuffs or groceries. This becomes worse during winter because they don’t have ice melt salt, so very slippery (hope they will change). The apartment complex provides cart/wagon for free, but there is only one. So if someone is using it or it is missing, you would need to wait. Lots of people here get their own cart/wagon for about $30, so there is a solution. However, when you pay so much for the “premium” living experience, you probably want to expect more than good looks. This is not a bad place to live, but not worth the price. P/S: at door trash collection: very nice thing to have although it’s not free (of course). Nonetheless, there are things that need to be improved. Schedule: Sun to Thu only, so no service on Fri and Sat (days many people want to cook at home because they finally have time). Number of bags: 2 bags of trash per night. The issue is, if there are more than 2 bags, they do not collect any. Shouldn’t they collect the 2 bags and leave the others? Wouldn’t that make...
