I read the reponses by this store to the poor reviews and the majority were robotic with the same responses. They aren't listening to customers and continue without making changes. , which tells me they don't care. 30 June 2024, my family and I were passing through the Mt Juliet store in TN and went out of our way to go there. We ordered our food and waited, 10 minutes later I'm told it would be 20 minutes before our order would be ready. While waiting, I saw a burger and fries in the corner on the pass thru. I told the girl at the counter that if that was part of my order I would not take it, if it were cold. She said that the heat from the lamps keep it warm. When we received our order the girl gave me the burger and fries. Before accepting it, checked the fries, they were cold. I let her know, the fries were cold and I wasn't going to give them to my 3 yrs old granddaughter. Manager came out told me fries wouldn't be ready for 10 minutes. Asked and received refund for fries, my grandson didn't receive his either. Sat back down and found the gravies and honey mustard missing from our meal. Got back up and no one was at the register, all employees were were in the ice cream area. I said sir 5 times, trying to get the managers attention, I didn't get a response so I went to the pass thru and said excuse sir me a few more times until he looked up. I asked if he were ignoring me on purpose, he said no that he was shorthanded and that he had 6 orders ahead of me after I asked for my missing items. I told him that maybe he should finish one order before starting another. Shortly after he gave me the items. When I went back to my family my grandson was in the corner corner crying because he heard the conversation with the manager, and that the manager upset me. This was suppose to be a good moment and it wasn't. The front area smelled like urine, floors sticky, and provided poor service. The never offered an I'm sorry and was nonchalant in his communication with me. I have never been to a Dairy Queen like this and won't be back there. I suggest if you see this place drive past it and go...
Read moreI ordered a cone, plain cheese burger, and pretzels on 3/16. The cone was ready first so I held it while I waiting for the warm food. The female cashier puts my burger and pretzel box on the counter with no tray or bag. She just looks at me and provided nothing for me to carry three items with two arms. I waited for her to realize it isn’t possible for me to carry them with my cone, but she just stood there. I asked for a bag, and she handed me a flat bag without opening it. I struggle for about 7-8 seconds to open the bag with one hand while she watches me, because my other hand is holding a leaking cone and I’m not putting food I’ve licked back on the counter everyone’s food touches. She never offered any assistance with the bag, and didn’t respond when I told her I only had two arms. The man who made my cone was really nice and seemed intelligent. Unfortunately he can’t do two people’s jobs. I was stunned at how unhelpful the lady was. So my advice to future customers is to demand assistance instead of showing them you are struggling. She either didn’t care or didn’t have the intellectual capacity to understand how absurd it is to put loose food items on a counter and expect the customer to take multiple trips to their table. What if I had ordered fries and a drink too? Was I supposed to take three trips to my table and leave my food unsupervised while I walked back and forth? Also, my plain cheeseburger had everything on it. I told her I wanted it plain three times. I didn’t keep my receipt, so I don’t know if that was her fault or the kitchen. Overall, it was very disappointing to dine here. The confetti dipped cone...
Read moreGiving this Dairy Queen a 1 star is generous... this is by far the WORST DQ I have ever visited. I moved to Mt Juliet, TN about 4 months ago, and as weather gets warmer I enjoy a small chocolate ice cream cone...well I have stopped by to buy chocolate ice cream 6 times before today and they never have chocolate ice cream..the machine is broken, they are out of chocolate mix, the manager forgot to order it, the district manager was even in today to figure it out....I have heard it all. Well today I pull into the drive thru and the car in front of me orders 2 medium chocolate cones dipped in cherry. I am excited because maybe the planets are aligned today and I will enjoy my favorite. I order a chocolate cone...they take my order...than I sit 20 mins while they screw around with serving two cars in front of me. The chocolate ice cream customer in front of me gets handed a cone... which clearly does not look like a medium and is leaning to the side a little. The customer gives it back and is soon rewarded with two med chocolate cones dipped in cherry. My taste buds are now on high alert as I pull up to pay for my cone. I pay...get my credit card back...waiting for my ice cream and BAM..” I am sorry we are out of chocolate ice cream...would you like vanilla....NO I WANT CHOCOLATE. So I ask for my money to be refunded...which they don’t know how to put it back on my credit card..s I get cash back. I hope their cash drawer balances tonight, but than again I don’t care! I waited 30 mins and left...
