We stopped for lunch on Sunday , 3 of us . We were seated and given menu's and specials menu. Five minutes later we go to order and everything we ordered is sold out . Might have been a good idea to let us know that when we were handed menu's. Even if you were busy the night before and ran out of things you know that when you open the next day. We all ordered burgers , but wait , the waitress had to go to the kitchen and count burgers to make sure they had 3 , lucky for us they had 8. At that point we should have left but we wanted to give a new place a shot. The 8 ounce smash burger was disappointing at best , I've seen a lot of 8 ounce burgers and this was not one of them . I had an unforgettable dining experience at Carol’s on the Water. The waitstaff was not only amazing but also attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The food was simply incredible, with the Thai wings being a standout dish that I couldn't get enough of. My daughter's favorite, and my close second, was the special appetizer, arancini.

And of course the view of the lake, which somehow surprised me with how breathtaking it was. Being on the deck makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the lake.

I can’t recommend this place at this time. There were several items that we wanted to order from the menu but then was told they weren’t available. I placed an order for the crabcake sandwich and after waiting 45 minutes for our food to come, I was told that they didn’t have any crabcakes and I would have to pick something else. Meanwhile, mostly everyone else had their food. When my replacement meal arrived, which was the chicken Panini, the chicken was fried so much that it was like a piece of cardboard.
