King Wok — Restaurant in Mount Olive

When I originally called to place the order, they were very quick to get me off the phone. I asked to please pay over the phone so I could simply grab my bag and go. The employee taking my order interrupted me in the middle of talking to let me know I can pay in the store when I pick it up. Which I understood but asked to pay ahead of time for a reason. I got a rude response back before he just hung up the phone. They didn't ask me for a name, number, or even had the courtesy to tell me how long it would take. Finally I leave, grab my bag from the counter, and headed home. When I got home they included nothing but 2 packets of duck sauce. No soy sauce or even hot sauce included. So unfortunately I had to drive all the way back there and when I asked for hot sauce, she only gave me 3. I then replied I'd like some more because I got a couple different pieces of food to which she told me she was going to charge me for it. Charge me for more than 3 hot sauce packets. Staff was incredibly rude and they seem cheap considering they probably pay 15 cents a packet. Food wasn't even that great. Would...

Great restaurant with hours that are open way later than most other local places. They always include coupons with their menus for free items, and they’ve never messed up my order. They deliver, and they know who their repeat customers are so I don’t have to give them my info every time I place an order.

The food is delicious and they have a pretty classic chinese food menu with all your favorite items! They also include tons of extra sauces and fortune cookies with your order. You can’t go wrong...

Suspected food poisoning twice in three months. Ordered regularly for years, no issues until recently. Ordered mid-Jan 2024 and wife got violently ill within hours, but kid was also sick from daycare, so could have been a coincidence. Ordered again early March 2024 and both me and my wife were violently ill within hours, this time kid was perfectly healthy, so I can only assume we got sick from here.

Going to take a good long pause from ordering here. Hopefully whatever issues are happening...
