Sabores De Colombia — Restaurant in Mount Olive

We came cause there’s not many Latino places in the area and they didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and flavorful. Their empanadas were outstanding and the salchipapas with the quail eggs makes you feel like you’re in Colombia. Definitely coming back to this place, can’t wait to try more plates.

Came in to get some meat empanadas since I haven’t been here in a while and I was very disappointed, the empanadas barely had any meat on them but the flavor was good I would say 4/5. Obviously the minus one is because it had almost no meat on them. Also on another note, the empanada felt like it was fried again for a second time. This place was good but it has fallen a lot since it’s opening day and it’s noticeable once you go in. The second picture is the empanada I was talking about. My husband and I were looking for a breakfast spot and this place came up in the search. We decided to be adventurous and we were quite happy we did... Delicious. He had a cheese omelette with a side of chorizo and i had Huevos Y Arepa Con Queso along with iced caramel coffee. Like started earlier... Delicious! I visited for the first time and ordered Cazuela de Frijoles and Sabor Bandeja Paisa and delighted of generous large serving but was disappointed of the taste. The steak and sauce was VERY SALTY without flavor. All we tasted was salt. We would suggest not using that much salt in your recipe as it is not healthy to consume.
