I recently visited a restaurant that specializes in hamburgers, and I must say, the experience left much to be desired. The highlight of any burger joint should be the perfect combination of juicy, flavorful patties and deliciously seasoned sides. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short on both fronts.
Starting with the fries, they were disappointingly bland and lacked the signature crunch and seasoning that make fries so enjoyable. It was as if they had skipped the step of adding that much-needed touch of flavor to elevate the fries from ordinary to extraordinary.
Moving on to the hamburgers themselves, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the quality. The burgers were overcooked and dry, a stark contrast to the succulent and perfectly cooked patties I've enjoyed at other burger hotspots like Sesame, Poes, and Coleman Public House. The lack of moisture and taste left me questioning the attention to detail that goes into crafting a satisfying burger experience.
In comparison to the memorable burgers from other renowned establishments, it's hard to justify spending time and money at this particular restaurant. Sesame, Poes, and Coleman Public House have consistently delivered burgers that are a symphony of flavors, with each bite bursting with juiciness and taste. The disappointment I experienced here pales in comparison to the memorable experiences I've had elsewhere.
When it comes to a dining experience centered around hamburgers, it's about more than just slapping ingredients between buns. It's about creating a harmonious balance of textures and flavors that elevate the simple concept of a burger to a culinary delight. Regrettably, this restaurant missed the mark, leaving me with a lingering sense of dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, my recent visit to this burger restaurant left me yearning for the deliciousness I've come to expect from other burger places like Sesame, Poes, and Coleman Public House. The lackluster fries and dry, flavorless hamburgers were a letdown, making me question the decision to spend my time and money here. If you're seeking an exceptional burger experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a more satisfying...
Read moreI am writing in response to your response below my complaint. Apparently, my complaint was not read correctly. I indicated it was WATER I was drinking, not from the beer glass. The manager looked at the glass and verified the chip on the glass and SHE said, "it was the new glasses you ordered." (I was not imagining it. It was there). It was seen and by both her and my son. My waitress was fine and this was not on her. I talked to who I believe was the manager (an older woman). When responding, please verify first.
23 hours ago The other night my son & I dined there. We both ordered burgers. I ordered a Swiss cheese burger, no mayo. I got a burger, no cheese with mayo. So I told the waitress & she took my order back (either she grabbed the wrong order or they gave her the wrong order). She asked if I wanted to eat my sweet potato fries while waiting. Sure. When she brought them back they were luke warm. I didn’t say anything. They did get my new burger out to me but the cheese wasn’t melted on it. I didn’t say anything. After dinner we were sitting for awhile & I was drinking water. About halfway thru I felt something in my mouth. It was a glass chip off of the top rim of the glass. In looking at it we saw a few chips. Hoping I didn’t swallow the others as it was tiny. I called over the owner/manager & showed her. She said this had been happening from these newly ordered glasses. That is dangerous! What if it was a kid? Why are you still using these glasses if it is a problem? She didn’t even offer a compensation of any kind. While I like to support my local businesses, I am not sure if I will go back. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve spoken to my staff about your thinking there might have been a Chip of glass in your beer, April checked and your glass had no Chip, can’t fix what ain’t broke. Please come back and let us buy you a meal to see if you can have the same experience as our other customers....
Read moreKnowing, from the reviews I have read, they are going through staff issues… I decided to give them a try with an open mind. My friend and I chose Wednesday because that is half price burger day. We were greeted very warm and kindly at the front counter. We sat at our table and waited approximately three minutes before someone came over to get our drink order. I didn’t think that was so bad. It took a while, maybe 10-15 minutes before our drinks arrived and then we ordered our meal. I ordered the getting smashed burger and it did not disappoint. The meat was juicy and hot. The bun was toasted perfectly, I got a crunch in every bite I took. As I said, the burger was hot, not just warm, but hot; I knew it came directly from the grill to my plate to my table. However, the fries were cold, definitely sitting a while, didn’t even feel like they were under a heat lamp. Our waiter was lacking in service, but friendly. I believe we saw him three times the entire time. Once to take our drink order, once to take our meal order and once to check on us. After that we didn’t see him again, had to flag down another waitress to get our bill. She said there was a shift change and he left, and wasn’t sure who was taking care of our table now but she helped us. Bottom line, burgers are great on half-price day. I didn’t mind paying $8 because it was hot and delicious but not enough to pay $16 any other day. Expect to have grace for the staff as they work everything out. I do plan to come back as there are a few items on the menu I would like to try. Good...
