Ordered the AuDiablo - great customer service, friendly people, mostly correct order (just missing onions, but they are also pumping out 100 free sandwiches today). The AuDiablo was just regular black pepper, not anything spicy. I think my 92 year old grandmother could have eaten it without complaint. (Even after adding hot peppers) They just opened, and have to nail down evenly placing the meats and toppings. I had the meat in the back and the toppings in the front, making it hard to get an even bite. I ate 1/2 of my primo, and can say I don't think it's enough contents with meat and toppings for that amount of bread. I am thankful for the opportunity to try it free. More of fyi's: They didn't have jalepenos or olives, and their pickles are thick cut. The tomatoes are thin cut and perfect in my opinion. The guy watching and running orders recommended oil and vinegar, which I had forgotten, so I was thankful for that. Bottom line - probably not for me but definitely a nice place with nice people and probably too Philadelphia for this southern girl. Not bad, just...
Read moreUsed to come in all the time. I’m done with this place. They always mess up customizations at least once if not multiple times in each order. I usually only ever order one or two sandwiches, so it’s not like there were very many, and they were easy customizations, like removing tomatoes or cheese or adding lettuce or onion. Despite this, the sandwiches are still pretty good. But my issue when I came in today was how I was treated by employees. I walked to pick up an online order that was already paid for. Usually, they ask for the name for the order, and they have it out shortly. This time, they completely ignored me. I stood where I normally stood, and no one helped me. Then I stood up at the counter, and they helped three people that had walked through the door after me before they ever looked my way. I could literally see my finished sandwiches behind the counter, and they refused to help me. Honesty ridiculous. I’m definitely never...
Read moreI have never eaten at Primo Hoagies and likely never will after today. My son and I were throwing a bouncy ball in the parking lot in front of Primo and we we're having a good time while waiting on laundry to finish next door. After playing for about 10 minutes the owner or manager walked out and yelled at us to move away from in front of his restaurant and go back down to another spot in the parking lot. I get it that he was perhaps worried about us hitting his window or something like that but it was a bouncy ball that in no way could break a window. There seemed to be very few people in his store and there were no cars parked in front of his store so we were doing nothing other than having fun. He talked to us like we were second class citizens and perhaps judged us for some...
