This is for the Mt Sterling KY location: I normally do not complain, but this twice this has happened to me and it has really upset me. I order online so my order will be ready when I get there so I don't spend my entire lunch break waiting in line for food. The past 2 times that I have ordered and went to pick up, I have called to let them know that I am there and the spot that I am in, and then I wait, and wait and wait, while I watch car after car go through the drive thru... and I end up having to go in and stand in line to pick up my order. This defeats the whole purpose of online orders and takes twice as long because you wait for your order to come out to your car and then it doesn't, then you have to wait in line for the next available cashier, or make a scene in front of everyone. Then they treat you as if you did something wrong for coming in to pick up your order when its no one's fault but the staff. It is ridiculous. The food at the Mt Sterling location is absolutely wonderful but some of the staff, not all, is...
Read moreI live out of state and Lees is one of my favorite places ever. This location is by far the best to visit whenever I come home. The food is always fresh and I never feel like they miss a beat. I wish I could pick it up and move it to Chicago with me.
Lees has the best chicken strips and the wedges are to die for. Why don’t more places serve wedges?! (Looking at you, KFC)
Also, get their honey mustard for the chicken/wedges. I’m usually a basic ranch guy but their honey mustard paired with those are just the bomb. When I visit I always get extra sauce to take back home.
My mom and I love it and it’s something we always love to get together when I’m home and really has become a tradition for us. She always makes me jealous when she gets it and I’m out of town, haha.
Anyway, I highly recommend. It’s one of the things I look forward to the most aside from seeing family when I come back to the area. Try to get there early because it can get busy! I wish I could...
Read moreThere's usually a line of cars wrapped around the building for the drive thru but that's a good thing. This is quite possibly the best restaurant in town.
That line for the drive thru does move pretty good so the wait isn't what it seems.
The service is great for both the drive thru and inside services. Food is always hot and fresh. They also have a buffet inside with chicken and typical country-style sides.
The parking lot (if you're dining in) is a bit small so getting in and out isn't the easiest venture. Yeah, theres additional parking in the back but it can be tricky walking to the building given the typical drive thru traffic.
Still, it's worth it. Just a good place to eat that isn't McDonald's, Burger King or KFC...
