After one visit, I would definitely return. And I recommend that anyone thinking about Lincoln should give it a try. We, however, were pretty disappointed with the pizza. We had the Margherita pizza and the crust was soggy and the flavors almost entirely absent. Marg flavors are subtle, so we added sausage. The tomato really needs something .. prob a little garlic will help. A dash of sea salt will bring out the mozzarella and it needs 3x basil. The sausage was the biggest disappointment. In this day of craft butchers and custom blends there is no excuse for the straight up browned pork sausage with not even a hint of flavor that we were served. There are pizza places I go to because their in-house blended sausage is addictingly delicious. The menu looked interesting and I hope for the sake of the people of Mt. Vernon that the other unique pies have more flavor (nowhere to go but up, really). And how can the bottom crust be so soggy? The oven is a work of art, but something about the process needs to change... or customers should plan on using a knife and fork because if you try to pick up a slice with your hands, the toppings will soon hit the table. Maybe this review seems harsh, but the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. There was just a huge let down when we tried the food. But like someone else said... a group of friends and a few bottles of wine will make for a fine night at the Licoln. I hope the owner or chef see this and just up their flavor game a bit! Thanks...
Read moreI've never written a review before but I was so upset by our dining experience that I decided to write one. We drove 3 hours roundtrip to try this place after reading about it in the New York Times. We were so incredibly disappointed. There are no menus, you have to walk over and stand in the aisle to read the menu off the wall which is behind a table where people were sitting trying to eat their meal. Our appetizer was barely edible and possibly the blandest thing I've ever been served. The pizza was awful. It looked and smelled bad and we only ate it because we were so hungry. The middle of the pizza was runny like it was undercooked but the crust was burnt. I've had various styles of pizza all over the country. This was the worst pizza I've ever had! Service was ok. The atmosphere was really loud. Some people might like that but it was too loud for us to have a conversation. We sat at a very tiny table with exceptionally uncomfortable chairs. I have no idea why this place gets good reviews. I felt so embarrassed that I had convinced my bf to take us to...

Wow, Lincoln Wine Bar is an absolute gem in Mount Vernon! As an Iowa girl now living in Atlanta, this place made my Saturday night visit feel extra special — a true treat!
The Greens pizza was fresh and flavorful, the Brie & Gorgonzola pizza was indulgently creamy with that perfect tang, and the Oyster Mushrooms pizza was a deliciously earthy experience. Each slice was crafted with so much love, and it’s clear they use top-notch ingredients.
And the wine selection? Incredible! They have something for every palate, with thoughtful pairings to elevate each pizza. The service was top-notch, and the staff made us feel right at home with their warmth and knowledge.
The ambience was cozy yet lively, striking that ideal balance for a relaxing evening out. Surrounded by great company and such a welcoming vibe, it felt like a perfect night. Cannot wait to come back the next time...
