A fantastic spot in a lovely small town. About 50 minutes outside of Boise but well worth the drive. Chef Christian does a beautiful job of showcasing fresh local produce, with nearly every ingredient he serves coming from his own farm, grown by his own hands. Anything that isn't fresh was dried, pickled of fermented by him. The dishes are simple but delicious, centered around what is growing together at this very moment. He has a la carte service on weekends and about 5 days a month does a more intimate 5 course meal centered around the harvests of the full moons. The restaurant space is small, with the the harvest Moon dinners taking place around a central table that only seats eight. It helps with the small town feel and makes the dinners feel even more intimate as you all sit and eat at the same time around a central common table. The Chef accommodated allergies and dietary restrictions with ease, without making you feel like you're missing out on anything. The restaurant is BYOB with plenty of parking up front. It is also one of the best priced prefix menus in the area. I would definitely recommend you go try it out.

From the moment the first dish arrived, it was clear that the chef at Farmers Stache is a magician with vegetables. This wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. The standout? The mashed potatoes, which were pure perfection—creamy, buttery, and impossibly smooth. But the real magic was in the way vegetables were transformed into something extraordinary. The crispy Brussels sprouts had just the right amount of char, adding a smoky depth to their natural sweetness. The puréed carrots were silky and vibrant, while the combination of roasted cauliflower and broccoli, tossed with seeds and nuts, brought a satisfying crunch. Topping it all off, a sprinkle of goat cheese added the perfect tangy contrast, tying everything together beautifully. Every bite was a balance of textures and flavors, proving that vegetables, when treated with care and creativity, can steal the show. If you think you’ve had great veggie dishes before, prepare to have your expectations completely redefined.

I have had the privledge of eating at the Farmers Stashe since it first opened and there isn't an item that has been prepared there that I haven't loved! My husband is one that doesn't like to try new things but I was able to get him to a Full Moon Epak Dinner and he has been in love ever since. In fact last weekend during the Strawberry Moon we brought some friends and received a text that said it was the best food they have ever had in their lives! (and this guy get's out!!!) I would highly recommend them and suggest you try anything their that is prepared by Chef Christian

An amazing find! We are fairly new to the area (2 years) and we came from a big metro area where we could find amazing restaurants. We have always enjoyed farm to table eating and this was off the charts! Moving to a small town has its perks for sure, but we are limited in restaurants, especially that serve this level of food. My husband reserved us spots for the sturgeon moon dinner and to our surprise we were the only ones there. We had our own private chef for the night. We brought a bottle of local wine and it paired amazingly with Christian's fabulous food. From start to finish, every dish (5 in total) was excellent. We will be making this our regular...
