My friend and I were hungry after going to the craft fair at the hotel down the street, so we stopped here after seeing the fairly good reviews. It was not an area or place I would normally go to, but I was surprised at the good taste of the food. The place itself was plain and kind of run down. They had a few toy cars on the wall shelves and some background Christmas music playing. The water dispenser was strange and not easy to use. It was also out of water. The guy behind the counter didn’t seem super happy to be there. They had some canned drinks in the standing coolers to the side. The menu was fairly standard for a teriyaki place. The prices were $10 or more per plate. I had the garlic chicken which was very good, and my friend had the yakisoba. The chicken wasn’t super chewy/fatty and the salad seemed fresh. I would have liked less salad dressing on the salad, but I forgot to ask for it on the side. The amount of food was good for the price. I ate about 2/3 of the plate and took the rest home for my kid to eat. I also noticed they had bowls to eat for someone who may have wanted less to eat. All in all, it wasn’t a bad place, but I would not come here specifically for the food unless I was in the area and wanted something besides fast food. The stores around this place were also kind of run down and sketchy, so I would not like to be here at night.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!! This place is either ok or absolutely terrible. They disappointed me once, but I like giving restaurants second chances. Worst teriyaki ever! Extremely dry as if they reheated the chicken for a third time and burnt! The teriyaki was sauce absent and to top it off, they admitted messing up the order so they gave her an "extra box". Lies, she didn't realize they overcharged her for food she didn't order and they still got her entree wrong since she ordered spicy. She was in a hurry to get home to Renton which is why she didn't verify her order up front. Moral of the story, save your time and money! You will be dissatisfied.

I came in an ordered two chicken Yaki soba’s and came home to a fly in my food it’s dead. I even have a picture of it. They will not give me a replacement food this is not okay. If I get sick because of this I’m calling the health department. Can’t believe they won’t even replace my food. I spent 37$ just for me to come home to find a dead fly in the middle of my food I’m calling the health department especially with Covid going on this is not okay

We have been going to Teriyaki Garden since 2006 have had great experiences all throughout high school, the last few years even. However tonight was a disappointment. I ordered shrimp tempura, received 8 pieces of Rubber shrump that wasnt devined with a hard tempura breadding. The sizing was decently large prices ranging from about 1.5" by 2.5" but i got tempura sauce that holds litterly 3 tsp of sauce.. that's enough to light touch all pieces. However, my shrimp was so over cooked I couldn't even ripe it apart. Then I call to just let them know i dont want to drive back up there, but this food sucks, the girl laughed and said next time I order shrimp for me to remind them not to over cook it... THEY SHOULDN'T BE OVER COOKED IN THE 1ST PLACE WHY WOULD I HAVE TO REMIND THEM NOT TO; its odd she wouldnt even to offer a discounted meal or anything else.. like I said im disappointed. Not sure if i will be returning, however if i do, i wont...
