Here is my update to the review below: I'm changing my review to five stars. We ate here a second time and the food and service were again top notch. Either the management responds to online feedback or my first visit observation of the furniture not being straight was just a bad day. Everything was on point. I think my earlier complaint about the furniture was a perception based on the disheveled arrangement... and we were there after 7 so the hotel customers were not lining up for their free drink. This time it looked like the place was getting ready for a photo shoot! My salmon was perfect... and I mean Seattle salmon perfect. I suspect they use a sous vide machine and finish it on the grill... not a bad thing...or the chef has a real gift for grilling. The drinks were again fantastic, including my martini. My fiancee said her salad with chicken was outstanding and they did not skimp on the avocado. Her only complaint was it was "Too big to finish"! Here is my earlier review: The food was 5 stars. Seriously. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to try the place out. Although the furniture is cheap and the room was noisy, my fiancee and I loved the food and the service. I was timing the service as I wanted to see if an earlier review was accurate. Our server was lightning fast...The kitchen was lightning fast. I was impressed. The seasonal drinks were awesome and reasonably priced. The furniture in the restaurant part should be different than the furniture out front...or at least better quality. There was also a chair facing the wall, and a table was not straight. Spiff it up. The hotel customers lining up for their free drink was a little strange, but I was entertained by the speed of the bartender. We will be back.

Ate here 2 nights while traveling. Usually come here once a year or so. I like that it is consistent. Its not 5 star food by any means but for a commercial hotel chain, it does not disappoint. Think sports bar quality. Their specialty cocktails are also well crafted and hit the spot. Which for business travel, some reliable food and a good cocktails actually makes me a repeat customer to the hotel. Service is friendly. I made many modifications to my meal and they executed on every one... impressive!

Nice Lil bar inside the embassy suites. Clean & roomy, good food choices with about 5-6 choices different good beers. Not too expensive, but best at happy hour.

My new favorite! We went there for Christmas dinner. Great atmosphere. I had the braised pork shank and my companion had the hazelnut crusted salmon. First, the portions are extravagant. Both dishes were prepared perfectly! Tender and well seasoned. The prices are extremely fair. If anything negative to say, would be the dining area is also shared with the complimentary managers reception from 5.30 to 7.30. This keeps the paying customer's servers over worked and too busy to give the attention needed at times since the servers also have to tend to those tables as well..ie clearing, etc. I think they should keep them separate and have a different reception attendant. Otherwise, everything ws pretty amazing. We decided to go back there again...

The food was fairly good for what you might expect from an "average hotel" captive restaurant. We stayed here at the Embassy Suite, for many weeks. We probably had over a dozen meals there. Mostly we went out for fine dining. Better than Denny's or many/most chain places. A few dishes, on a few occasions, were quite good, but in general, meals were plagued with inconsistency and mediocrity. Please note that we consider ourselves gourmet foodies and cook very well at home. Service was always very good. They have quite a few good beers. The burgers are quite good. I can also recommend the salads and flank steak. Often the salmon was overcooked or not really fresh. Did not care for the fried calamari or the...
