When talking with the school about their ABSN program. I was turned down due to have similar classes and they were counted as “retakes” in their system. For example, at a different college I took INTRO TO CHEMISTRY WITHOUT LAB. At another school, I took BIOCHEMISTRY IN HEALTH SCIENCE WITH LAB because my other chemistry course was not transferable at my other school. I’m not sure why the score is so low. To be honest, like most nursing programs, students gain the most from their clinical and work experience. I’ve seen many excellent RNs and NPs who completed their education entirely online. A school can only take you so far—real growth happens through hands-on experience.
