The service has changed. The baristas were so rude and impolite. We ordered drinks and they were way too sweet and tasted watered down. It has happened a few times and I just don't recommend this unless you are looking for diner watery coffee. The ambiance sucked and pretentiousness that loomed in the air would make even Joan Rivers stop and stare. There is nothing to even be pretentious about....the cashier rolled his eyes when I asked about their product and made it feel like it was an imposition to take the order. I have had better service at a chain Starbucks and that saying something. With what's going on in the world, a little kindness would go a long way. I regret tipping them. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have requested a refund but the energy spent requesting wouldn't be worth my time. I'll take the 11 dollar loss and go to a place where a smirk isn’t going...
Read moreThis is a nice little coffee shop. The cookies and pastries they have are absolutely wonderful, and the staff is always pleasant.
The drinks themselves are fairly standard, but I do think they get the flavor mix right.
As I mentioned though, the cookies and the main reason to go here. Bit of advice on some of the pies - plan on splitting piece, as they do tend to be on the rich side. They are well done, just a tad rich so that one piece can easily be split between two or even three people. In terms of their cookies, the M&M cookie is wonderful, and when they have the molasses cookies, get at least one to take you.
Great little neighborhood / main street type of place.
Update - ordered a cake for my wife’s birthday and it was great. Flavor is well balanced and just the right amount between layers to not overpower. Definitely look here for...
Read moreStaff was friendly and helpful, coffee was good and reasonably priced, however the WiFi was not working at all, and more importantly every wall outlet I tried was extremely loose. Cords fall right out of the sockets and you have to position the plug in just the right way to get a solid connection (note in my photo that the cable is not fully plugged in, this precarious position with the contacts partially exposed was the only way I could get power). Aside from the inconvenience this is a huge electrical shock and fire hazard, and would not be expensive or time consuming to take care of (replace the outlet receptacles). I say this not as a picky customer but as someone concerned for the safety of the workers and patrons of this establishment. Aside from that this is a nice coffee shop and I’d look forward to returning if these safety issues...
